Murder Mystery 2 Secret Badge: How to Get It in The Hunt: Roblox 20

MM2 marks the 2014 stop in The Hunt: Roblox 20 timeline. Alongside its free avatar reward, it offers a tougher hidden challenge for the “Roblox 20 Secret Quest” badge. You must complete the standard anniversary quest before accessing the secret route, and finish both before the event closes. Two different paths award the same badge; use whichever one your server has.

Quick answer: Finish the 50-coin base quest, then either interact with the hidden items on Office 2014, Hospital 2014 and Hotel 2014, or run the Bank map boss sequence, all before the September 28 cutoff.

Finish the 50-coin base quest first

The secret badge only becomes reachable after you clear MM2’s regular Hunt stop. Launch Murder Mystery 2, press the 20 Event button along the lower edge of the screen, and open the event quest. To complete it, collect 50 Coins that spawn across the map during normal rounds.

Collect coins by walking over them. Your balance carries across rounds, even when you die. One run yields about 40 coins at most; without a boost, playing two rounds is the fastest way to hit 50. The Elite gamepass raises your coin capacity, so you may finish in one match, though it is not required for the quest.

After collecting 50 coins, head back to The Hunt hub and claim the free Knife-Dodger’s Bighead accessory at the 2014 checkpoint. The accessory goes on your Roblox avatar, not into your MM2 loadout; find it in the avatar editor rather than among your knives or guns.

Rewards in the hub have to be claimed in chronological order. If you can’t claim the 2014 reward, complete an earlier stop from 2005 to 2013 first.

Route 1: Collect the three hidden 2014 map items

The most direct route asks you to find and interact with one hidden item on each of three returning classic maps: Office 2014, Hospital 2014 and Hotel 2014. The order does not matter. The real bottleneck is map voting, since these older layouts only load when the server votes them in.

A private server costs 10 Robux and lets you cycle maps with no murderer chasing you, which makes searching each layout far quicker. Public servers work too, but expect to sit through several rounds waiting for the right maps.

On Office 2014, head down the long corridor toward the bathroom and turn into the meeting room. Look around the watercooler to spot the Deathshard godly knife tucked behind it, then press the Inspect prompt (F) to collect it.

In Hospital 2014, make your way along the halls to a side room. Find the colorful bookshelf and the brown table with a PC and picture frame; a chair stands in front, with the classic default knife on it. Interact with the knife to count the second item.

In Hotel 2014, take the stairs down and continue along the hallway to its far end. The classic default gun sits on a desk next to a potted plant. Interact with it to complete the item set.

After all three items are collected, the badge is awarded automatically with no extra input.

Route 2: The Bank map boss sequence

A second reported method plays out during a regular Bank round and ends with a hidden boss fight back in the lobby. The interactions are Bank-exclusive, so follow the actions in the exact order below.

When voting for a map, select Bank; that’s the only map where the secret objects appear.

You need a gun for the vault interactions. Spawn as the Sheriff to get one, or pick up the Sheriff’s weapon after they are eliminated.

Enter the vault’s money room through its large circular entrance. Shoot the green Robux pile before the gold pile; the reverse order fails.

Hit the green button on the wall next to the vault, then shoot the murderer to finish the round.

Back in the main lobby, walk up the stone ramp on the brick building and face its central wooden door, between the two dark window sections. Open chat and enter /summonventyvoss67 five times to start the boss fight.

Defeat the boss to earn the secret badge.

Confirm the badge and claim Year of the Bloxer

The Roblox 20 Secret Quest badge should land on your account the moment you finish your chosen route’s final action. It carries a rarity of about 5.9% (Hard), compared with the 11.7% (Easy) rating on the base Roblox 20 Quest badge. If it does not show up right away, exit the game, rejoin, and check your inventory again. A short wait or a fresh session usually makes the unlock appear.

For the associated UGC prize, Year of the Bloxer, go back to the Hunt hub. In the speedrun section, interact with the concealed podium in 2014 Lab 2, close to the Knife-Dodger’s Bighead podium. If claiming fails on your first attempt, interact with it again or return a little later, since badge and UGC grants can take time to process.

The Hunt: Roblox 20 deadline

The Hunt: Roblox 20 is active from September 17 to September 28, 2026, and concludes at 10 AM PT. Once it closes, the quest, checkpoints and rewards disappear. Anything not claimed by the cutoff is unrecoverable.

The 50-coin base quest is one of the easiest stops on the whole timeline, so clearing it early keeps the secret route open for as long as possible. Collect the coins first, pick whichever badge method suits your server, and wrap everything up well before the September 28 close.
