In Star Wars: Galactic Racer, Favors are bonuses available only in Campaign mode; they help keep you from being knocked out during a tour. There are 20, each linked to a particular Campaign task, character, or decision. You may equip three at most.
Quick answer: Campaign activities unlock every Favor: finish Acts, complete Field Tests and Tales of Podracing events, buy parts from the Scrap Dealer, win Head-to-Head Rival races, and choose correctly in Mystery Encounters. Unlocked Favors appear in your Logbook.

How the Favor system works
Before each tour begins, choose as many as three Favors to equip. Your selection is fixed once the tour is underway; you can only swap, remove, or otherwise change Favors when the next tour starts. Set your loadout before the starting lights.
Favors can gain ranks. Keep one equipped while you finish planets to advance its upgrade. Your progress carries over, letting you work on an objective over multiple tours. For instance, Mad Genius adds one Crash per event, and reaches its next rank after you finish two planets with it equipped.
Meeting a Favor’s unlock requirement puts it in your Logbook, where you can check that it is unlocked and available to equip. The game also signals when you have access to a Favor’s unlock path, especially when selecting pre-race bets.

Story and Field Test Favors (the reliable ones)
Seven Favors can be earned without relying on random encounters, making their requirements predictable. Two unlock through the story; the other five require a set number of a particular Field Test or a parts purchase.
Clandestine Aid and Mad Genius are available early on. Finish Act 1: The Qualifier to unlock Clandestine Aid; Mad Genius becomes available after the first two planets in that Act. Sebulba’s Tales of Podracing events unlock Feet First after one event and Old Greats after all 12.
- Gadgeteer — complete 6 Time Trial Field Tests.
- Smuggler’s Hope — complete 6 Ramjet Field Tests.
- Unassuming Prodigy — complete 2 Precision Field Tests.
- Brutal Calm — complete 2 Battling Field Tests.
- Preferred Customer — obtain 4 parts from the Scrap Dealer.
The specific Field Test types still appear through random chance on the campaign map. If the type you need has not shown up, keep playing events until it surfaces.

Backer Favors at Derven Acos
Three Favors are tied to the backer you maintain a good standing with on your way to Derven Acos. When you arrive, that backer must give you a Satisfactory rating. In most cases, you can satisfy just one backer in a run, so you will likely need separate tours to earn all three.
- Team Vranki — arrive with a Satisfactory rating from the Hutt.
- Deeper Pockets — arrive with a Satisfactory rating from the Broker.
- Bloody Bounty — reach Derven Acos with the Pirate rating you Satisfactory.
Head-to-Head Rival race Favors
To earn these five Favors, win a Head-to-Head Rival race against the named racer. The winner receives that rival’s Favor.
- Fan Club — defeat Lyren Shok.
- Victorious Loser — beat Griff Halloran to claim this Favor.
- Silent Defiance — defeat Sen Fira.
- Family Legacy — defeat Ary Quill.
- High Roller — defeat Fola Kanjen.
These races have no set timetable. A Head-to-Head unlocks only after you and a rival have repeatedly wagered against one another and spoken after races, so several events may pass before that particular pairing appears.

Mystery Encounter Favors and exact dialogue choices
Mystery Encounters award three Favors through sequences spanning several meetings. Choose the specified dialogue option at each step; the choices below are given in sequence. As with Head-to-Head races and particular Field Tests, encounters appear randomly, so continue racing until the one you need comes up.
Racer Roulette (Biddy Blas)
Temper Biddy Blas’ ego across three encounters by choosing these lines in sequence:
- First encounter: “All right, you’re on.”
- Second encounter: “Quadruple or Nothing.”
- Third encounter: “Let’s go, Taxman!”
Underhanded Upperhand (Malis Vazosk)
Across four encounters, strike a deal with Malis Vazosk. You pay Credits for every choice, so have at least 20,000 Credits before beginning.
- First: “I’ll pay double if you don’t sabotage me.” (4,000 Credits)
- Second: “I want you to sabotage another race.” (4,000 Credits)
- Third: “I want you to sabotage the racers.” (5,000 Credits)
- Fourth: “You’re Hired.” (7,000 Credits)

Second Chance (Katja Mox)
Impress Katja Mox by racing with her handicaps before refusing them at the end.
- At the first meeting, select any one of the three handicaps, then finish three planets while it is equipped.
- At the second meeting, choose a different handicap and finish two additional planets with it equipped.
- Third encounter: say “Fine, take them. I’ll prove myself without them.”
Once any of these chains is finished correctly, the Favor drops into your Logbook and can be equipped at the start of your next tour. Because the rival races, Mystery Encounters, and specific Field Tests all lean on random chance, the fastest route to a full collection is simply to keep running events and follow the choices above whenever a required encounter surfaces.
