Jujutsu: Zero — How to Unlock Ten Shadows and Mahoraga

Summon the Ten Shadows Cursed Technique, ride Nue, and command Mahoraga after the Shadow Island update.

Summon the Ten Shadows Cursed Technique, ride Nue, and command Mahoraga after the Shadow Island update.

Ten Shadows is the Megumi Fushiguro-inspired Cursed Technique added to Jujutsu: Zero in the first part of the Shadow Island update. Unlocking it gives you the full shikigami kit, including the Nue flying mount, a rabbit swarm, the Divine Wolves, and Mahoraga.

Quick answer: Open the Shop, go to the Ten Shadows Special Banner, and summon it. Ten Shadows unlocks as a Disaster Grade Cursed Technique, and Mahoraga arrives bundled as your Y skill.

How to unlock Ten Shadows in Jujutsu: Zero

Open the Shop from the button in the top-left of the screen. This is the same menu used for banners and other summons.
Move to the Special Banner and select Ten Shadows, which is listed as Special Grade. This is the only banner that grants the technique.
Perform a summon. When Ten Shadows appears, it unlocks as a Cursed Technique with the card reading “Restricted Mahoraga. Grants the user the ability to summon and control a shikigamis.”

You know it worked when the Ten Shadows card shows the Disaster Grade rarity and the technique is equipped. Your skill slots then fill with the shikigami moves, and Mahoraga is available immediately.

Shadow Island and the Megumi questline

Shadow Island is the new map tied to the update, and it houses the Shadow Altar where you can summon shikigami to fight. Reaching it requires a teleport that you unlock through an NPC in the main town.

Find the Shadow Island TP NPC in the main town and interact with it. The first prompt asks, “Would you like to TP to the Shadow Island Map? Yes / No.”
Confirm the second prompt, which asks whether you want to spend 1 ??? Ticket to unlock this teleport. This permanently opens the route to the island.
On Shadow Island (marked Threat – Special Grade), locate the Megumi NPC, a QuestGiver rated Level 4500+. His first task is “Shatter the Pillars: Break the shadow pillars anchoring the technique.”

Note: The island is a Special Grade zone, so bring a leveled character before attempting the questline.
