Lineage Piece: How to Get Abyss Coin Fast in the Abyssal Sea

Abyss Coin is the endgame currency in Lineage Piece that pays for permanent elemental damage buffs. You earn it by running the Abyssal Sea mode on Elysian Island, clearing timed rooms for stars, and cashing those stars in for milestone rewards.

Quick answer: Teleport to Elysian Island, open the Abyssal Sea NPC, clear rooms across the Gladius, Nexus, and Pugnus paths before the timer expires, then claim the star milestones (21, 24, 27, 30, 33, and 36 stars) to collect Abyss Coins.

Where to find the Abyssal Sea on Elysian Island

Both NPCs you need sit next to each other. The Abyssal Sea NPC runs the challenge mode, and the Elementals NPC spends the coins you earn. Get to the island first, then work between the two.

Open the teleport menu and select Elysian Island. It appears at the bottom of the destination list, after locations like Hueco Mundo and Shinjuku Showdown.

Walk to the two NPCs on the island labeled Abyssal Sea and Elementals. Interact with the Abyssal Sea NPC to open the mode menu.

The three Abyssal Sea paths and their combat rules

The mode splits into three paths, and each one restricts how you can fight. That restriction matters because you have to clear rooms fast to bank stars, so pick the path that matches your strongest loadout.

Each path contains four rooms, which comes out to twelve rooms in total. Every room hands out up to three stars, so a full clear across all paths is worth 36 stars.

How to run a room and earn stars

Stars come from clearing a room before its timer runs out. The faster you finish, the more stars you keep, so bring your highest-damage weapon that fits the path’s rule.

From the Abyssal Sea menu, select a path and pick a room. Start with Room 1 of a path you can comfortably clear, such as Nexus Room 1.

Choose your weapon and combat style in the loadout slots, then press the green Play button to begin.

Clear the enemies in the room before the timer expires. The final room of a path ends with a boss fight, such as Gilgamesh in Nexus Room 4, who carries a large health pool that you need to burn down quickly.

After you clear the room, you can replay it to farm more stars or leave to move on to the next path. Repeat across Gladius, Nexus, and Pugnus to push your star total higher.

Star milestones that pay out Abyss Coins

Abyss Coins do not drop from individual room clears. They come from the star milestones in the Abyssal Sea menu. Once your combined star count reaches a milestone, you claim the reward tied to it.

Milestone rewards include Abyss Coins along with Abyss Coin Fragments, upgrade ores, Trial Scrolls, and Reforgers. Open the rewards menu at the Abyssal Sea NPC and claim each milestone you have unlocked.

Note: To confirm the coins landed, open your Storage and check the Material tab. Your Abyss Coins appear there alongside the fragments and ores you collected.

Spending Abyss Coins on elemental damage

The Elementals NPC turns your coins into a permanent elemental damage buff. You choose an element and pay coins to climb through its buff tiers.

Interact with the Elementals NPC, then select an element such as Light, Fire, Wind, Ice, Dark, Lightning, Earth, or Water. Each tier costs Abyss Coin x12 and raises the buff in steps. For Light, the damage buff climbs from +0% to +2%, +4%, +6%, +8%, and up to +10% at the final tier.

Once the buff percentage ticks up in the Elementals menu and your coin count drops, the upgrade is applied. Keep running the Abyssal Sea paths to stockpile stars, claim the milestones, and feed the coins back into whichever element matches your build.
