The Vasto Lorde Sword is one of the endgame weapons in Lineage Piece, and it sits behind a long questline that runs through Hueco Mundo Island. There are no shortcuts. You clear four quests, grind boss materials, win a raid twice over, and only then can you buy the blade.

Start the questline at Hueco Mundo Island
Travel to Hueco Mundo Island, the dark, snowy region with white towers. Near the white building you’ll find the NPC named Inner Hueco Mundo. Interact with the [Talk] prompt to open the questline. This NPC hands out all four quests in sequence and later accepts your finished materials.

Each quest unlocks the next one, so you have to complete them in order. Note that Quest 2 and Quest 3 both require the Tensa Zangetsu sword style, so make sure you have it equipped before grinding those objectives.

The traces are scattered across the map on pillars, ledges, and cliffsides, and each one shows a [Collect] prompt. For the final quest, you summon Vizard Ichigo from the summon NPC. Each summon costs 750 Gems, 1 Tainted Soul Pill, 50 Summon Cores, and 50,000 Coins, and the boss has 17,600,000 HP.
Farm the Vizard Ichigo materials
Beating Vizard Ichigo 15 times covers Quest 4, but you also need to keep killing him to collect the raid entry materials. These items only drop from that boss, and the rarest ones have low drop rates, so budget for extra runs.

Once every quest is done and all materials are in your inventory, return to the Inner Hueco Mundo NPC and submit them. That unlocks access to the raid.
Complete the Inner Hueco Mundo raid for souls
Entering the arena starts the raid called The Final Elegy. The objective is to protect Orihime and survive Ulquiorra’s attacks. This fight has two phases, and you need to clear both to have a chance at the sword’s souls.
