Machine Party: How to Win All 15 Minigames

Exact win conditions for every lethal round, from Minefield to The Filter, so you survive each rotation.

Exact win conditions for every lethal round, from Minefield to The Filter, so you survive each rotation.

Machine Party drops two to four players into 15 short, lethal challenges where a single mistake ends in a graphic death. Each round tests a different skill, so winning comes down to reading the objective before you move, then committing to survival once the arena starts closing in. Below is the exact win condition for every minigame, grouped by the type of skill each one demands.

Quick answer: To win any round, finish that minigame’s specific goal before the timer, the machine, or another player kills you. Route-planning modes reward calm scans and wide gaps; precision modes reward one clean input; role modes swing on positioning and timing.

Route-planning rounds

These modes punish bad routes and standing still. The threat is usually behind or beneath you, so the goal is steady forward progress rather than perfect caution.

Minefield

You run down a corridor with a mine detector while a harvester advances from behind. Step on a mine and half your body blows off, leaving one chance to crawl. Detecting mines means standing still, but pausing too long lets the harvester catch up, so this becomes a race against time across three rounds.

Pulse the detector from stable ground, then move through the widest safe gap rather than the shortest line. Scan again before changing direction, and do not follow another player directly. One shove near a revealed mine can kill you both. Once the harvester is close enough that another pause would trap you, commit to the exit even if the final stretch is not perfectly scanned. Memorizing mine layouts across rounds gives you a real edge.

Wrong Way

You climb an escalator while a crusher sits at the bottom. To keep your pace, enter the directional inputs in the order shown on screen. A wrong button slows you down, and repeated mistakes drop you into the crusher.

Keep your eyes on the prompt row, not your character, and read only the next two or three arrows at a time. On keyboard, the arrow keys are cleaner than movement keys; on controller, use the D-pad, since the analog stick rolls into diagonals the game rejects. After any mistake, restart your rhythm with deliberate single presses and rebuild speed once the prompts feel predictable.

Tunnel Hazard

Players are locked in a room with one shutter and six alcoves. Hide in the alcove lit green before the shutter lifts and the train runs you over. An alcove showing red drops a pillar, so you cannot camp there. The last survivor wins.

Stay near the center while the next safe spaces are being set, since running to the wall early lets someone trap you against the wrong section. When only one green nook remains, enter it first and fight from inside rather than lining up a push from outside.

Stable Footing

The floor is a 6×8 grid of symbol tiles over an abyss. A symbol is marked as safe for the next drop, and standing on the wrong tile sends you falling. The symbol changes between phases, so the tile that was safe last round can kill you next.

Read the indicator first, then move to the nearest matching tile before thinking about anyone else. When several safe tiles remain, take an isolated one and avoid contact. As the floor thins, move before the crowd blocks your route, and only push another player once both your feet are secure and a second safe route still exists. The round runs until one survivor is left.

Precision and timing rounds

These modes reward one clean input and calm sequencing. A single wrong action, or one move at the wrong moment, usually ends your run instantly.

Chisel Gauntlet

You are shown a 3×3 cube with some pieces missing, then locked in a room to carve your own cube into the exact same shape before a timer expires. A wrong shape or a missed timer gets you shot.

Before touching the cube, turn the target into a short verbal note like “top two and front-right,” which is easier to hold than a full 3D image. Remove the most distinctive segment first, reposition the view before touching a hidden side, and submit only when every cut has a reason. Use reset immediately after an obvious misclick, but do not keep carving at random, since a wrong submission ends the round.

Firearm Factory

Weapon parts are displayed at the bottom of the screen, and you pick them up and place them on your table one after another to build a firearm. This is a PvP race. The first player to finish the gun wins by shooting the other.

A collected part does nothing until you return it to your own workstation and insert it into the build. Read your recipe from left to right, grab the nearest required part, and insert it immediately instead of carrying several uncertain pieces at once. Recipes can differ between players, so do not copy the person next to you. If a rival finishes first, break line of sight, use the machinery as cover, and survive their first shot to buy time.

Table Manners

Everyone eats peas with a fork while a murderer reads a newspaper on top of the table. Whenever the murderer looks up, any movement gets you shot. You fork and eat peas with your mouse buttons, and the goal is to finish your plate first without being caught mid-motion.

Use the murderer’s head as your timer. The moment it looks away, move the fork to the plate, load it, return to your mouth, and stop. Do not start a fresh trip when the head has already been down for several seconds, since it usually turns back mid-motion. The fork carries multiple peas, so load heavily at the start of a safe window and use smaller, safer transfers near the end.

Smoke Break

Win by landing the most puffs, inhaling and exhaling through your cigarette. Mistiming a puff makes you cough and waste time. The winner survives; the loser is shot from the trolley. Balance each inhale with a full exhale rather than mashing, since a clean rhythm produces more successful puffs than rushing.

The Filter

Items pass along a line, and you sort them. Throw picture frames into the furnace while letting mechanical parts like bolts and nuts pass through. Correct sorting earns points, and the player with the most points wins. Slow down enough to avoid a single wrong input, because accuracy is what separates the winner here.

Role and positioning rounds

These modes assign asymmetric roles or hand you a hazard to pass around. Where you stand and when you commit matters far more than raw speed.

Duck Hunt

One player is the hunter, hidden in a building with a scoped weapon, while the rest are runners crossing an air corridor to reach the exit. The hunter wins by killing every runner; runners win by reaching the end alive.

As a runner, do not hide forever. Move cover to cover and advance right after the hunter shoots or turns away, especially when another runner is already pulling their aim. Moving as a group creates more pressure than advancing one at a time. As the hunter, keep the crosshair near head height, and take an easy body shot near the exit instead of holding out for a perfect headshot. Mouse aiming is noticeably faster than a controller here.

Inside Job

One player is a hunter whose goal is to find a syringe in the office and infect every runner. Runners try to avoid infection. An infected runner gains movement speed and works against the hunter, and the room grows darker as the round goes on, making runners harder to find.

As the hunter, position next to a target before you grab the syringe so you can infect immediately rather than searching after picking it up. As a runner, use the growing darkness and keep distance, since the hunter’s window narrows as visibility drops.

Debris Platforms

Each player stands on a circular platform and must keep it clear of debris. A platform full of junk gets crushed by a machine along with you. You can throw debris onto other platforms to endanger rivals, and rings on the platform indicate how close the piston is to dropping.

Throwing junk at others only helps while your own floor is safe. Once your platform reaches its danger state, clear space first. Aiming a crate while your own platform is about to collapse is a guaranteed loss.

Spine Breaker

A mechanical spider chases you and tries to latch on. When the timer ends, whoever holds it is crushed to death. You can dodge the spider or throw it onto another player, using corners and the environment to break its pursuit while it targets someone else.

Lethal Rebound

The room has three crawl spaces that periodically release spinning blades. The blades move erratically and bounce across the floor, and any contact kills you. The last survivor wins. Read the repeated disc paths and always keep an escape lane open before you try to push another player toward a blade.

Forklift Certified

You have 20 seconds to use a forklift to move as many boxes as possible into your room. When the timer hits zero, the player with the fewest boxes is eliminated. You can also steal boxes from opponents and drop them in your own area to put them at risk. Prioritize clean pickups into your deposit zone, and steal only when a loose crate is not blocking your own lane.

How to win the full session, not just one round

A full rotation of all 15 minigames runs roughly an hour, and the scoreboard rewards consistency over a single lucky round. The player who dominates pea eating may finish last at sniper dodging, so aim to finish mid-pack or better everywhere instead of gambling for first on the chaotic picks.

Two habits decide most sessions. Read both instruction pages before you ready up, since several modes show controls on the first page and the actual win condition on the next. And stop the wrong action one second earlier than feels natural. Committing to the exit in Minefield, clearing your own platform in Debris Platforms, or dropping an achievement attempt when its setup disappears keeps you alive to score the next round.

Sabotage works best when it widens your lead without risking your own elimination. Blocking a doorway after you have already cleared the objective is strong. Diving into a saw to take someone down while you are already in last place is theater, not a win. Machine Party is available on Steam for two to four players through private room codes, with local co-op planned for later in the year.
