Everything landing in Marvel Rivals version 20260730, from the new Avengers co-op mode to store bundles, lobby events, and hero fixes.

Marvel Rivals is getting one more big drop before Season 9.5 arrives, and it leans hard into the movies. Version 20260730 adds a new Avengers: Age of Ultron PvE mode, fresh store bundles, a Spider-Man Day tab, and a set of Times Square events, plus a short list of hero bug fixes. Here is exactly what changes and when.

Quick answer: The July 30 update goes live at 9:00 AM UTC on July 30, 2026, with no server downtime. Patch it and jump straight back in. The Age of Ultron PvE mode is available on PS5, Xbox Series, and PC, but not on PS4.

Release time: July 30, 2026, 9:00 AM UTC

Path to Doomsday Avengers: Age of Ultron PvE mode

The headline addition is a co-op mode built around the Age of Ultron story. Ultron’s legion floods into Avengers Tower, alarms go off across the building, and the Avengers assemble to hold the line against the invasion. It slots into the ongoing Path to Doomsday series, which ties Marvel Rivals content to the Marvel films.

One important limitation to note: the mode is not available on PS4 at launch. PS5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam) players can play it right away when the patch goes live.

Times Square Age of Ultron events and how to claim rewards

Two themed activities run in the Times Square lobby, and both hand out rewards for simple participation. They are live from July 30 at 9:00 AM UTC through August 27 at 9:00 AM UTC.

The Highlights Screening plays iconic clips from Age of Ultron in the lobby’s viewing area. Watch it continuously for two minutes and you unlock an exclusive Spray. If you walk away early, the timer does not carry over, so stay put for the full two minutes.

The Iconic Scenes Photo Ops are set up on the photo walls outside the Avengers’ Gift Shop. Take a group photo with the NPCs standing there and you instantly get 100 Units. The Units land immediately after the photo, so there is no separate claim step to worry about.

New store bundles and Spider-Man Day

Four new bundles arrive in the store, drawing from Age of Ultron, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. They go on sale from July 31 at 2:00 AM UTC.

A dedicated Spider-Man Day store tab also opens to mark the character’s first comic appearance. It collects a range of Spider-Man costumes, and the Spider-Man – Peter Parker: The Photographer bundle returns for a limited window. That tab runs from July 31 at 2:00 AM UTC until August 13 at 9:00 AM UTC.

Hero bug fixes in version 20260730

The update clears up several team-up and ability bugs. Here is what each fix addresses.

HeroWhat was fixed
ThorTriggering the Ragnarok Rebirth revival while casting his Ultimate could let teammates heal him unexpectedly and cause wrong defeat judgments.
Peni ParkerUsing the Rocket Network team-up could make Rocket Raccoon’s B.R.B. revive data track incorrectly.
Cloak & DaggerSelecting the Oblivion Shroud team-up could record assist data incorrectly.
JubileeAt certain angles, Dazzling Detonation failed to detonate her energy orbs.
HelaHer emojis and emotes could stop working after she used her abilities.

Esports drops during Marvel Rivals IGNITE

Marvel Rivals IGNITE is underway, with top teams from four global regions competing in Los Angeles for the first global title of the 2026 season. You can pull up the full Mid-Season Finals schedule from the in-game Esports page and turn on match reminders so you do not miss a game. Watching in-game or through the official live streams earns viewership drops.

Taken together, this is a content-forward patch rather than a balance overhaul, and it sets the table for Season 9.5. The Age of Ultron mode and the Times Square events are the parts worth logging in for on day one, especially the Photo Ops that pay out 100 Units for a single group shot.
