Double roles in the English dub

Two English actors each cover a pair of fighters. Steve Blum voices both Wolverine and Green Goblin, drawing on a long history with Wolverine across Marvel Rivals and several Marvel vs. Capcom entries. Josh Keaton handles Spider-Man and Iron Man, and he already played Spider-Man in The Spectacular Spider-Man.

Actors reprising familiar Marvel roles

Several cast members return to characters they have played before. Five English actors carry over roles from the Marvel vs. Capcom series, and a few others follow their characters from other recent Marvel games.

  • Steve Blum (Wolverine), Josh Keaton (Spider-Man), Brian Bloom (Captain America), Fred Tatasciore (Hulk) and Nolan North (Deadpool) reprise their Marvel vs. Capcom roles.
  • Giancarlo Sabogal returns as Robbie Reyes / Ghost Rider from Marvel’s Midnight Suns.
  • Mara Junot has previously voiced Storm in Marvel Rivals, Marvel Mystic Mayhem and Marvel’s Midnight Suns.
  • Scott Porter has voiced Star-Lord in Marvel Rivals and Marvel Future Revolution.
  • Jason Spisak previously played Loki in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order.

Bosses, announcer, and DLC voices

The single-player Episode Mode ends in fights against two Elders of the Universe, the Promoter and the Champion. Both have confirmed voices in each language. Maxwell Powers handles the English announcer, and the first Year 1 DLC fighter, Phoenix Cyclops, already has a listed English actor.

Notable Japanese cast members

The Japanese dub leans on well-known anime and game talent. Yūichi Nakamura, familiar as Gojo Satoru in Jujutsu Kaisen, plays Captain America. Miyuki Sawashiro, who voices the Raiden Shogun in Genshin Impact and Kurapika in Hunter x Hunter, takes Storm. Kōichi Yamadera voices Star-Lord, and Katsuyuki Konishi covers Ghost Rider.

Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls launches worldwide on August 6, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC, with a Japanese release on August 7. The roster of 20 is set to expand, with at least four DLC characters planned, so the cast list will continue to grow past launch as more fighters are revealed.
