Mistfall Hunter Release Date and Time: When Servers Go Live

The dark fantasy extraction ARPG unlocks worldwide at one fixed moment across PC, PS5, and Xbox — here is exactly when.

The dark fantasy extraction ARPG unlocks worldwide at one fixed moment across PC, PS5, and Xbox — here is exactly when.

Mistfall Hunter, the dark fantasy PvPvE extraction ARPG from Bellring Games and Skystone Games, has a locked global launch. The full game replaces the beta and demo builds at a single worldwide moment, so every region unlocks at the same instant even though the calendar date shows differently depending on where you live.

Quick answer: Mistfall Hunter releases on July 29, 2026 at 6:00 PM PT / 9:00 PM ET, which is 01:00 UTC on July 30, 2026, on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S at the same time.

Release time: July 29, 2026, 6:00 PM PT (July 30, 2026, 01:00 UTC)

Mistfall Hunter launch time in your time zone

The launch is a single synchronized unlock, not a staggered regional rollout. Players in the United States and parts of South America go live on Thursday, July 29, while the rest of the world crosses into July 30. Use the table below to line up the exact local moment.

Time zoneLocal launch time
PDT (US West)6:00 PM, July 29
CDT (US Central)8:00 PM, July 29
EDT (US East)9:00 PM, July 29
UTC1:00 AM, July 30
BST (UK)2:00 AM, July 30
CEST (Central Europe)3:00 AM, July 30

Steam’s own listing shows July 29 because that is when the launch hits US time zones, while the store’s technical release field and the discount window use the 01:00 UTC July 30 timestamp. Both point to the same moment.

Platforms, crossplay, and Game Pass

All three platform families go live together, and crossplay is on, so PC, PlayStation, and Xbox squads can hunt in the same lobby. You can drop in solo or team up in a three-player co-op squad.

PlatformLaunch status
PC (Steam)Full release at launch; Bellring Anti-Cheat on PC
PC (Xbox app / Microsoft Store)Day one, with Xbox Play Anywhere support
Xbox Series X|SDay one on Xbox Game Pass
PlayStation 5Day one; not included with PS Plus

Mistfall Hunter is on Xbox Game Pass from day one for both Xbox and PC subscribers, so you can install it without buying the game outright. Xbox’s store page notes that console online multiplayer needs Game Pass Core or Ultimate, sold separately. There is no PS Plus inclusion, so PS5 players buy the game directly.

No preload: how to be ready when servers open

There is no preload. The game only becomes downloadable and playable at the exact launch moment, so the download starts once servers go live rather than the night before. The full install runs around 40GB or more, so a slow connection means a wait after the countdown hits zero.

Tip: Wishlist or follow the game on your storefront now so you get a launch notification. On Game Pass it appears in your library automatically on day one. You can add it from the Mistfall Hunter Steam page to be pinged the moment it unlocks.

Editions, price, and launch discount

Mistfall Hunter is a premium release, not free-to-play. The Standard Edition covers the core game plus future seasonal content, and a 10% launch discount runs on every platform from launch through August 12, 2026, 17:00 UTC. That drops the Standard Edition to $22.49 during the window. Standard buyers can upgrade to Deluxe later for $15.00. Regional prices and taxes may vary.

EditionPriceIncludes
Standard$24.99Full base game and future seasonal drops
Digital Deluxe$39.99Base game plus exclusive cosmetics and Fate Coins
Deluxe upgrade$15.00Post-launch upgrade path for Standard owners

The Digital Deluxe bundle is cosmetic-only, with no gameplay advantage over Standard. It adds the Forsaken Skeleton character outfit, Shipwreck Coast profile background, Web of Fate earrings, Justice standing pose, and the Pip’s Daily Life emote set, plus the Dew avatar, Light Feather avatar frame, and 2,500 Fate Coins for the cosmetic shop.

What launches on day one

You play a Gyldhunter, a fallen hero revived by a girl named Dew, dropping into the Gyldenmist to harvest Gyldenblod, fight corrupted beasts and rival squads, and extract before dying. Death before an extraction point costs all unextracted loot from that run.

The launch build ships with all six classes from the beta, each with talent trees, active skills, and real-time weapon switching. Every player also gets the Season 1 Battle Pass for free.

  • Withered Knight
  • Mercenary
  • Sorcerer
  • Blackarrow
  • Shadowstrix
  • Seer

Matchmaking opens with Solo and Trio queues only. Duo matchmaking is not available at launch, a choice made to keep queue times healthy. Expect AI-controlled bots in your first few matches, easing new players into the extraction loop before full player lobbies take over.

Seasons are planned to run three to four months with confirmed seasonal wipes. Characters and inventories reset each season, though certain long-term progression carries over. That structure keeps the economy fresh and matchmaking active across each cycle.

Nothing about the timing is expected to change this close to launch. Beta progress does not carry into the full game, so the July 29 unlock is a clean start for everyone with only cosmetic beta rewards retained. Set your alarm for 6:00 PM PT, and remember there is no preload to smooth out that first download.
