Clear Hermit’s Pass, grab the Revered Gland, and claim the Ovum to finish this Sanguine Caverns beacon.

The Sanguine Shoreline beacon sits inside the Sanguine Caverns and opens into a short dungeon called Hermit’s Pass. Cleansing it means fighting through a pack of spider-like enemies, collecting a Revered Gland along the way, and picking up the Sanguine Shoreline Ovum at the far end.

Quick answer: Interact with the beacon, choose Cleanse Beacon, clear every spider in Hermit’s Pass, then collect the Sanguine Shoreline Ovum from the tree structure to complete the cleanse.

Where to find the Sanguine Shoreline beacon

The beacon is tucked inside the large cave past the two bridges in the Sanguine Caverns area. From the clearing, take the left bridge into the cave and follow the path until you reach the beacon. It needs to be revitalized before it will show its full menu, and cleansing it is what removes the corruption and awards the Ovum.

Like every corrupted beacon, you can rest here to restore Health and Resolve and update your respawn point even before cleansing. The cleanse itself is what sends you into Hermit’s Pass.

Cleanse the beacon through Hermit’s Pass

Interact with the Sanguine Shoreline beacon and select Cleanse Beacon. This opens the portal that drops you into the dungeon.
Run through the portal, move along the cave path, and cross the wooden bridge into Hermit’s Pass. The route is linear, so keep pushing forward until the arena opens up.

Engage the spider-like enemies as they appear. A ranged weapon thins them out at a distance, and melee attacks finish the ones that close in. You can also bypass part of the group if you would rather save health.
Squeeze through the narrow rock gap when the SQUEEZE THROUGH prompt appears. This tight passage lets you slip past enemies and reach the next section of the pass.

Loot the Revered Gland from the small altar on the left. This item feeds into Mether’s Pulse upgrades, so it is worth grabbing before you move on.
Head to the tree-like structure that holds the Ovum. You will not be able to collect it yet because nearby spiders are still active and block the interaction.
Drop down into the lower area and defeat the remaining spider enemies. Clearing them is the condition that unlocks the Ovum.
Return through the rock squeeze to the tree structure and collect the Sanguine Shoreline Ovum. This completes the cleanse.

Note: The tree only becomes interactable once every spider in the lower area is dead. If the prompt still refuses to appear, check for a straggler you missed before heading back.

Rewards for cleansing the beacon

Every cleansed beacon guarantees Ova and at least one Glimpse. The Sanguine Shoreline run adds a Revered Gland from the altar and drops Gloom as you clear the spiders.

How to confirm the beacon is cleansed

Once you pick up the Ovum, the beacon registers as cleansed. In the world, the black corruption tendrils that wrapped the beacon disappear, and its icon on the map switches to the cleansed version, making it easy to tell apart from beacons you still need to clear.

After cleansing, resting at the beacon still restores Health and Resolve, respawns standard enemies, and updates your respawn point. The main practical payoff is the Ovum you carry back to Marrow Keep, along with the Revered Gland you can spend on Mether’s Pulse upgrades.
