Iskra is one of the Lieutenants in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4’s DMZ. The fight happens inside a building at Cheonwang Peak Array, in a stairwell where Iskra shoots down at you and then comes running back down the stairs.
Quick answer: Go to Cheonwang Peak Array, clear the halls, then hold the building’s stairwell. Shoot Iskra with steady automatic fire while Iskra runs down the stairs. Then loot the dog tag, cache, and Warlord.
Iskra location at Cheonwang Peak Array
On the compass, Cheonwang Peak Array shows a threat level of MEDIUM. Iskra is inside one of the array’s multi-storey buildings, not out in the open. These landmarks tell you that you have the right place:
- Ground-floor halls with a “1층 FLOOR” sign
- A hall with blue walls
- A stairwell with metal railings that climbs past numbered floors
- A “Data Farm” room sign next to a keypad door along the stairwell
The side op starts as “Paid Intel: Reach Iskra”. It changes to “Paid Intel: Kill Iskra” when the banner LIEUTENANT / ISKRA / CHEONWANG PEAK ARRAY appears. That happens once you are climbing the stairs. Intel is bought on the Boss Board, and the terminal on the Lieutenant Hunt tower by Wolves Stadium also points to Cheonwang Peak Array.
How to beat Iskra in the stairwell
The kill is confirmed when the kill popup appears on the landing along with the banner SIDE OP COMPLETE / PAID INTEL: KILL ISKRA.
Iskra drops: Dog tag, Warlord, and cache
Iskra’s loot is spread across the landing. The dog tag is on the stair landing, the Warlord is by the body, and the cache holds the Control Unit and Disposable Parachute.

The Control Unit is a 3D printer part used for the Defibrillator and the Trophy System. The Disposable Parachute is described in-game as a “Parachute with a limited number of uses.”
You will also find a TYPE 73 (common LMG, $500) and a PPSH-41 (common SMG, $200) on the same stairs. They are left over from the fight and are not part of Iskra’s drop.
