Noiseform Rod in Fisch: Stats, Passives, and How to Unlock It

Everything the Stage 12 dev rod does, plus the full path through the Mysterious Shadow questline.

Everything the Stage 12 dev rod does, plus the full path through the Mysterious Shadow questline.

The Noiseform is a Stage 12 fishing rod in Fisch, added in version 1.87.3 with the June 10, 2026 patch. It looks like a black electric guitar wrapped in neon-green flames and spectral energy, and it carries one of the most layered passive kits in the game, combining Soultorn rolls, a rhythm-style zone minigame, and falling star arrows.

Quick answer: Unlock The Shady Bazaar, summon a Cursed Storm, light all eight Cyan Candles, finish the Mysterious Shadow’s three quests, then complete the Awakened Witch dev-rod steps to fully unrestrict the rod.

Noiseform rod stats in Fisch

The rod leans entirely into luck and progress speed rather than control. Its Control value of 0 means the reeling bar sits at 30% width, so manual handling is hard and the passives carry the catch instead. Note that Durability of 0 blocks fishing in Lava, Noxious Fluid, or Brine.

Noiseform passive abilities

The base passives stack progress and weight boosts with high-tier mutation rolls on every catch.

  • +15% Progress Speed and +7% Forced Progress Speed
  • +22% Weight Boost
  • 35% chance for Soultorn (8.5×) and 25% chance for Flowed (6.5×)
  • Ghost Passive: every catch has a 35% chance to grant a Soultorn fish of higher rarity with a 1.85× Weight Boost. It cannot produce Limited, Gemstone, or Seed fish.

Zone minigame

During a catch, three Zones can spawn on the bar with a 3.5-second cooldown. Each Zone takes up 12% of the bar and carries a shape in its center. Three warnings flash in the shape of the correct Zone, then a beam strikes for 0.15 seconds.

Landing your control bar on the correct Zone grants +20% Progress. Picking the wrong Zone reduces control by 28%, and four incorrect selections end the minigame. While the Zones are active, Progress Loss drops by 33%. Catch the fish without a single wrong pick and you get a 33% chance for Rhythmic (11×).

Tip: as long as your control bar covers the correct section, touching another section at the same time still counts as a correct selection.

Star Beam

Every 0 to 10 seconds a Star Beam plays out over 2.25 seconds. Arrows start falling every 0.5 seconds and speed up to one every 0.1 seconds. Each arrow adds +2% Progress, and all 10 arrows together give +20% Progress.

Light all eight Candles during a Cursed Storm

Inside The Shady Bazaar, use a Cursed Storm Totem to trigger a Cursed Storm (an Aurora Totem also works at a 20% chance). Cyan Candles will appear across the area. Hold on each one to light it, then approach the Mysterious Shadow afterward.

Mysterious Shadow questline

The Shadow gives three quests, each with two objectives. Clearing all three grants a Restricted version of the Noiseform.

QuestObjectives
Quest 1Catch and return a Blossomed Kraken (or Ancient Kraken) and a Sunken Megalodon (or Ancient Megalodon)
Quest 2Catch and return a Soultouched Styx Angler and a Jackpot Shimmering Silverside
Quest 3Catch and return a Requies Scylla, then catch a Leviathan using the Tranquility Rod or Duskwire with the Wobbly enchant

Unrestrict the Noiseform rod

Equip the Restricted Noiseform and head to Hawaii during a Cursed Storm. A pool will appear. Fish it until you catch a Compact Disc.
Go to Hades’ Underworld of Indefinite and find the grave marked “1913 – 2013,” to the left of the Olympian Fissure entrance. Hold out the Compact Disc and hold E on the grave until you are teleported.
Complete the obby and speak to the Awakened Witch NPC at the end. The Witch gives the final set of objectives.
  • Catch and return 3 Glitched Bloop Fish (Glitched Potions)
  • Catch and return a Glitched Translucent Scylla (Glitched Potions + Ghastly)
  • Catch and return a Vitalic Olympian Devil
  • Retrieve a Flowed Compact Disc
  • Obtain and return a Shiny Shrouded Anglers Lantern (Appraisal)
  • Return 70 Wisps and 50 Dark Wisps
Return to the Awakened Witch to receive a Corrupted Disc. Bring that disc back to the Mysterious Shadow in The Shady Bazaar to fully unrestrict the Noiseform.

You know it worked when the Mysterious Shadow accepts the Corrupted Disc and the rod loses its Restricted status, leaving a fully usable Noiseform. Completing the rod also awards 5,000 XP in the Rod Journal.

Best Noiseform enchantments

Because the rod is built around luck, progress, and weight, enchant pairings that push those numbers get the most out of it.

Enchant pairingPurpose
Immortal + TryhardMore luck and progress speed
Sea Overlord + Sea PrinceHigher fish weight and money
Starforged Spirit + SanctifiedLarge weight and money increase
Wormhole + InvincibleCatch fish from anywhere, mostly for fun

A Chromatic Noiseform skin is also available through a code. With its kit pulling from rhythm-style zones, falling star arrows, and frequent Soultorn rolls, the Noiseform rewards players who can read the warning shapes quickly and keep the bar parked on the correct Zone.
