Silvance is one of the Grass Pals added in the Palworld 1.0 update, and it fills two very different roles well. In a fight, its partner skill turns the Ivy-Covered status into extra explosive damage. At base, its Level 8 Medicine Production makes it the top natural pick for clinics and medicine workbenches. Here is how to set it up for each purpose.
Quick answer: For combat, run Spore Burst, Wind Burst, and Blizzard Spike with the passives Legend, Demon God, Serenity, and Musclehead. For base work, keep the same active skills and swap to Remarkable Craftsmanship, Artisan, Work Slave, and Serious, then assign it to Medicine Production.

Best Silvance combat build in Palworld 1.0
Silvance is a Grass Pal that carries Ice and Normal moves for coverage. Its real value in a fight comes from the partner skill, Spore Stalwart. When you attack an enemy that is inflicted with Ivy-Covered, that enemy explodes and takes bonus damage equal to 40% of your attack, scaling up to 60% as the skill improves. The effect does not stack. Because several of Silvance’s own moves apply Ivy-Covered, it can set up its own explosions and keep the loop going.
Spore Stalwart also helps while you explore the World Tree. With Silvance in your party, you and your Pals become immune to the region’s Explosive Spores.
Active skills for combat
Slot these three moves for the strongest damage output:
- Spore Burst
- Wind Burst
- Blizzard Spike
Wind Burst hits softer than Silvance’s other exclusive move, Giant Spore, but keep it anyway. Its secondary effect spreads the Ivy-Covered status, which is exactly what Spore Stalwart needs to trigger the explosions.
Passive skills for combat
- Legend
- Demon God
- Serenity
- Musclehead
Counters to watch for
Silvance’s Grass typing is its weak point. Fire Pals such as Eidrolon Ignis and Renjishi deal increased damage to it, so avoid throwing it into fights where those types lead.

Add to Google Preferences →Best Silvance base build for Medicine Production
Silvance is a top-tier base worker because it holds the highest natural Medicine Production rating in the game at Level 8. In Version 1.0, Medicine Production does more than craft medicine. The new Clinic and Ancient Clinic use the assigned Pal’s Medicine level to reduce SAN loss and hold back illness among your other base workers, which makes a Level 8 specialist valuable in any busy or high-workload base.
Its full work spread is below.
| Work Suitability | Level |
|---|---|
| Medicine Production | 8 |
| Planting | 6 |
| Handiwork | 6 |
| Gathering | 4 |
| Transporting | 2 |
Assign Silvance to Medicine Workbenches, Advanced Medicine Workbenches, Clinics, and Ancient Clinics. Its secondary Level 6 Planting and Handiwork also let it fill in on crop cycles or crafting when a base needs extra hands.
Active skills for base work
Keep the same three moves you use in combat, since a base Pal can still be pulled into a fight:
- Spore Burst
- Wind Burst
- Blizzard Spike
Passive skills for base work
Prioritize work-speed passives so Silvance clears its queue faster:
- Remarkable Craftsmanship
- Artisan
- Work Slave
- Serious
Tip: Ranking Silvance up through the Pal Essence Condenser raises its Work Suitability levels, so a condensed Silvance can push Medicine Production closer to the Level 10 cap for even faster output.
Silvance stats and movement
Silvance is a Large, Rarity 8 Grass Pal. Its combat stats favor ranged damage over melee, and it moves quickly enough to serve as a mount.

| HP | 140 |
| Melee Attack | 100 |
| Magic Attack | 120 |
| Defense | 110 |
| Work Speed | 100 |
| Support | 100 |
| Food | 630 |
| Run Speed | 500 |
| Ride Sprint Speed | 750 |
| Stamina | 100 |
Where to find and how to get Silvance
Silvance appears as a Level 78 Field Alpha Boss inside the World Tree, in the southwestern area near the Shrinespore Root fast travel point. You can capture it there or defeat it for its drops.
You can also obtain Silvance by hatching a Huge Verdant Egg. Place the egg in an Egg Incubator and wait for it to hatch, or breed one at a Breeding Farm.
Its drops on capture or defeat are listed below.
| Item | Amount | Drop Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Giant Pal Soul | 1 | 100% |
| Ancient Civilization Core | 1 | 100% |
| World Tree Holy Water | 1–3 | 50% |
| Grass Radiant Gem | 1–3 | 50% |
| Decayed Ancient Relic | 1–10 | 10% |
| Dormant Ancient Relic | 1–5 | 5% |
| Gorgeous Ancient Relic | 1–3 | 3.33% |
| Glowing Ancient Relic | 1–2 | 2.5% |
| Glistening Ancient Relic | 1 | 2% |
Whether you keep Silvance for World Tree runs or park it in a clinic, the setup is straightforward. Lean on Ivy-Covered for combat explosions, and lean on its Level 8 Medicine Production to keep your other workers healthy and productive.
