Palworld: Cattiva Effigy Locations and How They Upgrade Endurance

What Cattiva Effigies do, where you turn them in, and how each one raises your Endurance stat.

What Cattiva Effigies do, where you turn them in, and how each one raises your Endurance stat.

Cattiva Effigies are collectible statues scattered across Palpagos Island, and they exist for one purpose. Gathering them lets you raise your Endurance, which directly changes how long your mounts can keep moving before their stamina runs out.

Quick answer: Pick up Cattiva Effigies out in the world, then offer them at a placed Statue of Power or at an Abandoned Church to spend them on an Endurance upgrade.

What Cattiva Effigies do

A Cattiva Effigy is not a Pal and not a resource for crafting. It is a collectible that feeds into your Endurance stat. Once you hand over enough of them, your Endurance goes up a level.

Higher Endurance reduces how quickly your Mount Pals burn stamina. That means you can run, fly, and swim for longer stretches on the same mount before it needs to slow down or recover. If long-distance travel and exploration are eating up your riding time, Endurance is the stat that fixes it.

Where to offer Cattiva Effigies

Collecting effigies does nothing on its own. You have to turn them in at the right spot before the Endurance boost applies.

Turn-in pointHow it works
Statue of PowerA statue you place yourself. Interact with it to spend collected effigies on an Endurance level.
Abandoned ChurchA prebuilt statue found out in the world. Interact with it the same way to raise Endurance.

Either option draws from the same pool of effigies you have picked up, so you can visit whichever one is closest when you are ready to upgrade.

How to find Cattiva Effigies on the map

Cattiva Effigies sit in the world as interactable statues. You walk up to one and grab it, the same way you handle other effigy types. They are spread out rather than clustered, so most runs will involve fast-travel hopping between points and clearing the ground on foot or by mount.

Unlock fast travel points as you explore. Each one shortens the trip to nearby effigy pickups and makes it practical to collect several in a single outing.
Approach each effigy and interact with it to add it to your count. It disappears from the world once claimed, so you will not accidentally grab the same one twice.
When you have a stack built up, head to a Statue of Power or an Abandoned Church and spend them on Endurance.

Note: Cattiva Effigies are a newer effigy type, and their full set of world positions is still being catalogued. No complete, confirmed list of every spawn point is settled yet, so treat any single count as provisional until the map coverage is finalized.

How to confirm the upgrade worked

After you offer effigies at a Statue of Power or Abandoned Church, your Endurance level increases immediately. The clearest way to check the result is to ride a Mount Pal afterward. Its stamina bar should drain more slowly than before, letting you cover more ground per sprint or flight.

If nothing changes when you interact with a statue, the most common reason is that you have not collected enough effigies yet to pay for the next level. Keep picking them up until you have the required amount, then return to the statue to spend them.
