Palworld: How to Get Beam Scatter Schematic 4 for the Legendary Shotgun

Every confirmed route to the Legendary Beam Scatter blueprint in 1.0, from the Drafting Table to Zoe & Grizzbolt.

Every confirmed route to the Legendary Beam Scatter blueprint in 1.0, from the Drafting Table to Zoe & Grizzbolt.

The Legendary Beam Scatter is the strongest version of Palworld’s wide-penetration shotgun in 1.0, and it stays locked until Beam Scatter Schematic 4 is sitting in your bag. The Legendary blueprint is an endgame item, so there is no early shortcut. What you do have is three separate ways to obtain it, each with very different odds.

Quick answer: Craft one Beam Scatter Schematic 4 at a Drafting Table by feeding it 5 Beam Scatter Schematic 3, or beat Rayne Syndicate Boss Zoe & Grizzbolt (Lv.72, Hard) for a 10% drop on your first clear. Grand Master fishing near the World Tree is the repeatable backup, but the odds sit under 0.4%.

Every way to get Beam Scatter Schematic 4

The three routes trade reliability for effort. Crafting is deterministic once you own five tier-3 schematics. The boss drop is the best single-roll chance, but only fires once. Fishing runs forever, yet the drop rate is tiny.

MethodHow it worksRepeatable
Drafting TableTurn 5 Beam Scatter Schematic 3 into 1 Schematic 4Yes, if you keep collecting lower tiers
Zoe & Grizzbolt (Hard, Lv.72)10% drop chanceNo, first clear only
World Tree Grand Master fishingRandom loot from the fishing poolYes

The most efficient plan starts with fishing near the World Tree, since it also drops lower-tier Beam Scatter schematics you can later convert. Use the Drafting Table whenever duplicates stack up, and treat the Hard Mode boss as a one-time bonus roll rather than a farm loop.

Craft it at the Drafting Table

Crafting is the only route that never depends on luck. The Drafting Table unlocks at Technology All 45 and converts lower schematic tiers into higher ones. For this shotgun, the recipe you want combines 5 Beam Scatter Schematic 3 (Epic) into 1 Beam Scatter Schematic 4 (Legendary).

Gather 5 copies of Beam Scatter Schematic 3. These are the only material the recipe consumes, on top of a work cost.
Walk up to a Drafting Table, press the interact key to open Select Recipe, and highlight the Beam Scatter Schematic 4 entry. One craft carries a work cost of 1,000.
Complete the craft and confirm a single Beam Scatter Schematic 4 lands in your inventory. The Legendary Beam Scatter recipe then becomes available at the Ancient Workbench.

The same chain runs the whole way down. Five Schematic 2 make a Schematic 3, and five Schematic 1 make a Schematic 2. That is why weak duplicate drops from fishing are worth keeping rather than tossing.

Farm it from Zoe & Grizzbolt (Hard)

The Rayne Syndicate Boss Zoe & Grizzbolt drops the schematic directly. Clearing the Level 72 fight on Hard difficulty gives a 10% chance for one copy, which is the single highest drop rate for the item.

The catch is the first-clear rule. Only your very first Hard clear rolls the schematic. Rematches are unlimited and free, but they hand out experience only, never another chance at the blueprint. Prepare fully before that initial run, because there is no redo on the drop.

Note: A 10% chance does not guarantee a drop, and it does not roll on repeat kills here. If the first clear misses, your remaining options are the Drafting Table and the low-odds random pools below.

World Tree fishing and other low-odds sources

The schematic also appears in several fishing, treasure, and Ancient Relic pools. All of these carry very low percentages, so plan for long sessions. Fishing a Grand Master spot around the World Tree gives the best chance among them.

Travel to a Grand Master fishing area near the World Tree. Confirm the “Grand Master” label shows at the bottom of the fishing screen before you commit to the grind.
Open the map and save the location so you can fast-travel back to the same fishing pool for repeat runs.
Clear out inventory slots before you settle in. The schematic is only useful if it actually lands, and a full bag can force cleanup mid-farm.
Fish repeatedly and watch the loot feed for Beam Scatter Schematic 4. Move any lower-tier Beam Scatter schematics into the Drafting Table chain instead of discarding them.

Decayed Ancient Relics list the item but roll it at effectively 0%, so they are not a practical source. For reference, the Epic version fishes up around 1.133%, which is roughly three times the Legendary rate.

What the Legendary Beam Scatter unlocks

The regular Beam Scatter unlocks at tier 75 in the Technology tree. Owning Schematic 4 unlocks the Legendary variant, which keeps the same spread, fire rate, range, and ammunition type but improves the numbers that matter in longer fights.

StatLegendary difference
Damage per shot19.9% higher
Shots before reload8 additional shots
Durability4x higher
SpreadSame
Fire rateSame
RangeSame
Ammunition typeSame

The schematic weighs nothing, stacks up to 9,999, and carries a base value of 10,000 gold. It is never consumed by crafting, so once you own one you can build the weapon as often as you can gather materials.

Crafting the Beam Scatter (Legendary)

Building the weapon itself happens at the Ancient Workbench and leans on late-game materials. Gather these before you plan the craft.

How to confirm it worked

You know the schematic is active when the Beam Scatter (Legendary) appears as a craftable recipe at the Ancient Workbench. That is your confirmation. The unlock only applies while the schematic is on you, so if the recipe still shows locked, check that the Schematic 4 is actually in your bag rather than dropped or stored elsewhere. If a fishing or boss roll simply did not land, the recipe will not appear and you need another attempt.
