Everything you need to unlock, gather, and craft this Epic-tier consumable that brings downed Pals back into the fight.

The Revival Potion is an Epic-tier consumable in Palworld that heals a Pal which has been knocked out and can no longer move. Instead of hauling a downed Pal back to your Palbox or a Pal Pod to recover, you feed it the potion directly and its health bar refills. It is a late-game item, so both the recipe and the workbench sit behind a high Technology level and a set of materials pulled from several regions.

Quick answer: Reach Technology Level 61, spend Technology Points to unlock both the Revival Potion recipe and the Advanced Medicine Workbench, then craft it with 30 Cavern Mushroom, 50 Red Berries, 20 High Quality Pal Oil, 10 Cotton Candy, and 20 Sulfur using a Pal that has Medicine Production.

Unlock requirements for the Revival Potion

Two unlocks are needed before the potion ever shows up in a crafting menu. The recipe itself is one Technology entry, and the only standard station that can produce it is the Advanced Medicine Workbench. Both become available at Technology Level 61.

UnlockTechnology LevelTechnology Points
Revival Potion (recipe)613
Advanced Medicine Workbench614

Open the Technology tab, scroll to the level 61 entries, and confirm each unlock. If the Revival Potion is missing from the workbench list later, it is almost always because the recipe was never unlocked here.

Revival Potion recipe and materials

The full crafting cost is the same every time you produce one potion. The Advanced Medicine Workbench is the standard station for it, and the Ancient Workbench can also produce it once you have that later station.

Where to farm each ingredient

These five materials come from different biomes and Pal jobs, so the fastest route is to set up passive production at your base for most of them and mine the rest by hand.

MaterialHow to gather
Cavern MushroomFound in caves, mineshafts, and dungeons, including the corridors where Alpha Pals appear. Low-level Expeditions also return them, and assigning a Shroomer (non-purple variant) to a Ranch produces them passively.
Red BerriesGrow across the starting Island biome from the very beginning. Plant a Berry Plantation at your base for a steady supply, or butcher/capture low-level Pals such as Caprity and Cattiva.
High Quality Pal OilAssign a Dumud to a Ranch for passive output. It also drops from Pals like Digtoise, Relaxaurus, and Flambelle, and Wandering Merchants sell it for 300 Gold each.
Cotton CandyComes only from Woolipop. Capture or butcher one for a drop, or assign a Woolipop to a Ranch for a continuous supply. Use the standard Woolipop, not the Terra variant.
SulfurMine the yellow Sulfur nodes around Mount Obsidian, near the Eternal Pyre Tower Entrance or the Mount Obsidian Midpoint. A Sulfur Mine built at your base lets Pals extract it endlessly.

Build the Advanced Medicine Workbench

The workbench is the gate to production, so build it before you start hunting for potion materials. It carries its own build cost separate from the potion.

Smelt Hexolite in a Gigantic Furnace so you have enough on hand. This ingot feeds directly into the workbench build cost.
Enter build mode and place the Advanced Medicine Workbench blueprint. The station needs Circuit Board, Plasteel, and Hexolite to complete, and Pals assigned to construction will speed up the build.
Wait for the completion bar to fill. A notification confirms the workbench is finished, and it is then ready to accept recipes.

Craft the Revival Potion

Once the workbench exists and all five materials are stocked, production is quick.

Interact with the Advanced Medicine Workbench and scroll through its recipe list to the Revival Potion.
Set the production quantity and press Start Production. Crafting will not begin unless a Pal with the Medicine Production work suitability is assigned to the base, such as Lifmunk or Bellanoir.

Let the assigned Pal work through the progress bar. When it fills, a message reads “produced 1 Revival Potion,” and the potion appears in your inventory tagged as an Epic Consumable.

How to use the Revival Potion on a downed Pal

A Pal whose health hits zero can no longer be deployed. The Revival Potion skips the trip back to base and heals it in place.

If the injured Pal is in your active party, open your inventory, select the Revival Potion, and choose that Pal to start healing. If the Pal is sitting at your base, walk up to it and use the Feed option to give it the potion. The potion must be fed directly to the Pal. It cannot be dropped into a feed box, and the health bar refills gradually after use.

Revival Potion stats

These values help you plan storage and understand its rarity tier.

StatValue
RarityEpic
TypeConsumable
Rank5
Gold Coin value39,000
Weight1
Max stack9,999
Item codePalRevive

Because the potion stacks up to 9,999, there is no real reason to hold back once your farming loop is running. Set up passive Ranch production for the Cavern Mushroom, High Quality Pal Oil, and Cotton Candy, keep a Berry Plantation and Sulfur Mine feeding the rest, and you can keep a stockpile of Revival Potions ready for whenever a Pal goes down in a tough fight.
