- Fast travel posts5
Permafrost's map has 5 fast travel posts, each standing in a safe zone: Horizon, the Solar Power Plant, the Church, Crow's Nest and The Last Stand. At Horizon the post stands in the open square. The post at the Solar Power Plant goes by the name Solar Fields.
A fast travel post is a wooden post with a sled. Walk up to one and unlock it; you only need to do this once per post. From then on you can travel between any of the posts you have unlocked. Fast travel is unavailable while you are in combat and during severe snowstorms, so you cannot use a post to escape a fight or a bad storm. A bed is not a fast travel point, and you cannot travel to or from one.
