Phantom Blade Zero runs on Unreal Engine 5, and S-Game has published the PC specs it wants you to hit before launch. The list is split into a minimum tier aimed at 1080p and a recommended tier aimed at 1440p, plus separate targets for ray tracing and path tracing. An SSD and DirectX 12 are required across every tier.

The minimum tier is built for 1080p at 30 fps with upscaling enabled. It leans on the GTX 1660 6GB or the Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB, paired with a six-core CPU and 16GB of memory. Note that upscaling is expected even at this floor, so the game is not designed to render natively at these settings.

The recommended tier moves the target to 1440p at 60 fps, again with upscaling enabled. Memory stays at 16GB, but the GPU jumps to an RTX 3060 Ti 8GB or a Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB, and the CPU shifts to an i5-10600K or Ryzen 5 5600X.

Ray tracing and path tracing specs

Phantom Blade Zero supports both ray tracing and path tracing, and S-Game lists dedicated GPUs for each. Ray tracing is used for reflections and shadows, so these tiers demand newer Nvidia cards on top of the base recommendation.

For 4K with path tracing, an RTX 5080 16GB is the listed card, and even then upscaling is required to reach the stated frame rate. This is a demanding title at its highest settings.


Storage, DRM, and other requirements

An SSD is mandatory for every tier, which is standard for large Unreal Engine 5 releases. S-Game has not published a specific install size yet, so plan for headroom on your drive until a final figure is confirmed. The game also uses Denuvo anti-tamper technology on PC.

Note: Upscaling is assumed at every performance target on this spec sheet, from the 1080p/30 fps minimum up to 4K path tracing. Turning it off will lower your frame rate below the listed numbers.
