Quick answer: Defeat Bai Chilian beyond the Threadbound Great Tree bell in Crimson Forest to earn the Resonance Talisman. This Support accessory raises Sha-Chi by 15%.
Where to get the Resonance Talisman
In Chapter 1, travel to Crimson Forest to obtain the talisman. Solve the mist portal puzzle in the Mirrorwood Depths to open the way to the Threadbound Great Tree bell. Rest at the bell, then continue through the blue flower field on the other side. Enter the fog to trigger a battle against Bai Chilian, Lady of the Twin Serpents. The fight continues into a second phase against Bai Chilian, the Sacrificial Serpent.
After the fight and its closing scene, you wake up next to a crane statue in the Village of Lu. Three reward cards appear there: the Story Item “Broken Illusory Pipa”, the weapon “White Serpent & Crimson Viper“, and the accessory “Resonance Talisman”. You know the talisman is yours when its card shows the prompt “Equip the new Accessory now?”
Resonance Talisman effect and description
The item card reads as follows:
- Type: “Support”
- Name: “RESONANCE TALISMAN”
- Effect: “Increases Sha-Chi by 15%.”
“A talisman crafted from an ivory pick, woven with instrument strings and strands of hair. Despite the passage of time, both remain as supple as ever. The strings were taken from the pipa once played by Inanis, while the hair belonged to her beloved daughter. ‘May my daughter live a lifetime of peace and happiness.’”
The description connects the talisman to Inanis and her daughter. Their memories make up Inanis’ Memory Flower in the Mirrorwood.
