Niantic announced the Kids Parent Portal last month for parents to manage their children’s interactions with games from the Niantic Labs. The feature is now available in Pokemon Go with the version 1.87.3 update which started rolling out today.

The Niantic Kids Parent Portal lets parents keep their children’s personal information safe and secure whenever they access Pokemon Go. Parents can review and approve their children’s permissions before playing and control the personal information shared in the game.

Niantic has partnered with SuperAwesome, a kid-safe technology company to develop and maintain the Niantic Kids Parent Portal. The service ensures digital privacy for children following COPPA, GDPR-K, and guidelines in many countries around the world.
