The Solaris Egg is an Ethereal-rarity egg in Ride a Pet, added with the Mutations Update. It sits alongside the Black Hole Egg and the Cherub Egg as one of the rarest finds on the map, and the game broadcasts an on-screen announcement the moment it spawns. Because the map is large and the egg only appears at a handful of spots, knowing exactly where to run makes the difference between grabbing it and missing it.
Quick answer: The Solaris Egg spawns in four areas — Grey Mountain, the Giant Tree, the Cave, and the Desert. Sweep those spots after the announcement, or use the Eternal Radar to pinpoint it.
Solaris Egg rarity and spawn behavior
The Solaris Egg carries Ethereal rarity, the top tier shared with the Black Hole Egg and the Cherub Egg. Its luck value is 300 billion, placing it between the Black Hole Egg (100 billion) and the Cherub Egg (1 trillion) on the egg ladder.
It has a very small chance of appearing, and when it does, the whole server sees the spawn notification at the top of the screen. Many of its spawn points overlap with the Black Hole and Cherub Egg locations, though it also uses a few of its own.
Once collected, the Solaris Egg lasts only 20 seconds; equip your quickest pet before moving.
Where the Solaris Egg spawns in Ride a Pet
Four areas are currently confirmed. Reach each region using the landmark below, then check the harder-to-spot sub-locations before moving on, since another player may have already cleared the obvious spot.

Grey Mountain
Leave the Ranch for the waterfall that conceals the Cave. Stay outside: walk upstream along the water to its end, keep the mountain on your right as you follow its edge, and turn left at the first opening. A spawn in this spot is visible from far away.
Giant Tree
The Solaris Egg may sit atop the Giant Tree, which also houses the Cherub Egg and Black Hole Egg. Using a Phoenix or another speedy flying pet shortens the climb, making this location worth checking first if you have one. Search the cabin near the summit, then check every branch above.
Cave
The Cave behind the waterfall is a common place for the egg to appear. Inside, search the elevated platforms on both sides, the distant corners, and the areas behind the crystals farther in. If you find nothing, leave via the wide opening and inspect the cliffs to either side, because the egg may be outside the entrance.
Desert
Begin at the Pyramid when searching the Desert. Should you find nothing there, enter the small pool on the structure’s right; it leads to the interior area called the Maze or Desert Temple. Thoroughly inspect every corner before leaving.
Track the Solaris Egg with the Eternal Radar
Because it is Ethereal rarity, the Solaris Egg can only be tracked with the Eternal Radar from the Gears Shop. That radar detects any Ethereal egg, including the Black Hole and Cherub Eggs. It is currently the most expensive radar in the game and rarely restocks, and it can also be bought with Robux if you prefer.
The radar is a shortcut, not a requirement. You can still search the four areas manually every time the announcement appears. Eggs on the map reset every 8 minutes, so timing your sweep around a fresh restock helps.
Confirm the egg is still on the map
Before making a lengthy trip across the map, speak with the Eggo NPC and verify that the Solaris Egg remains active. When another player has already claimed it, Eggo will confirm that it is gone, letting you abandon the search. If a documented location is empty, proceed immediately to the next one instead of concluding that the announcement was incorrect.
Once you reach the egg, you pick it up and carry it above your character, with its name and luck value floating overhead. Press E to place it in a nest on your ranch, where it hatches. Until it is placed, the egg only sits in your inventory, so get it home before the 20-second timer runs out.
