Kitsune holds the top speed in Ride A Pet, but obtaining one means taking on one of the game’s hardest hatches. You can’t buy it in a shop, get it through trading, or claim it as a quest prize. Instead, locate the correct egg in the world, get it back before its break timer expires, and hatch it after raising Luck as much as your cash permits.
Quick answer: The Cherub Egg is the sole source of Kitsune, with odds of 1 in 1Qi. Collect Cherub Eggs from world spawns, use the ranch board to build Luck toward 200K, and hatch them as a batch.
Why Kitsune is worth the grind
With 1 billion base speed, Kitsune is the game’s fastest mount; its 170 jump is also tied for the highest. Speed is crucial during this hunt: high-tier eggs appear on timers and will break if you don’t get them home in time. Kitsune is needed to progress through both Rebirth 5 and Rebirth 6, which cost $6.2T and $325T respectively.
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Hatch chance | 1 in 1Qi |
| Base speed | 1B |
| Base income | 90,000,000 |
| Base jump | 170 |
| Base weight | 10kg |
Kitsune isn’t the best pet for income: Dragon earns 300,000,000, compared with Kitsune’s 90,000,000. Its advantages are movement speed exceeding Dragon’s by more than three times and satisfying two rebirth requirements at once.

Add to Google Preferences →Confirm the Cherub Egg is the only source
To avoid wasting hours circling in flight, first go to Index and select Eggs. Kitsune is listed as a possible hatch from the Cherub Egg, confirming that no other egg type can produce it directly. In that menu, choose Pets to inspect the odds: Kitsune has a 1 in 1Qi chance, ranked after Cerberus and before Dragon in rarity.
Simply hatching a large number won’t overcome those odds; Luck is the main factor you can influence.
Cherub Egg and Blackhole Egg spawn locations
Cherub Eggs appear infrequently at a set of rotating locations around the map. Blackhole Eggs can appear at those same points, so a route that visits them all can collect both kinds. A flying mount is nearly essential because some locations are on cliff faces and summits.
| Spawn point | What appears |
|---|---|
| Giant tree canopy, right-hand branches | Blackhole Egg |
| Hollow room inside the tree trunk | Blackhole Egg |
| Mountain cliff base and grassy ledge | Both egg types |
| Mountain summit | Both, low chance |
| Cliff ledge and lower tree path | Both egg types |
| Underground river cave platform | Guaranteed Cherub Egg |
| Mountain crevice past the waterfall | Both egg types |
| Lighthouse on the beach | Blackhole Egg |
| Pyramid tomb | Blackhole Egg |

The two tree spawns
Check two places on the giant tree during your pass. One sits up in the canopy among the branches on the right; the other is in the trunk’s wooden interior room, in its right-hand corner. Since they’re nearby, visit them both together.
The mountain route
Search the rocky mountainside, sweeping the cliff’s foot and the neighboring grassy ledge. Then reach the summit; eggs appear there too, though much less often. Return to the tree ledge and take the trail beside the mountain wall. Continue beyond the waterfall to the opening in the rock and the ridge exposed past it.
The cave, the beach, and the pyramid
Enter the underground cave marked by its blue glowing river and check the rock platform within. Cherub Eggs appear there more reliably than anywhere else on the map, making it the best place to begin each lap. On the coast, make a circuit around the lighthouse. At the pyramid, enter the water pool and descend into the tomb underneath.

A high-tier egg’s break timer begins as soon as you collect it. Let it expire before you arrive at your ranch and the egg disappears, so decide on your return route before pickup.
Carry eggs home before the break timer expires
Once picked up, a wild egg triggers an “Egg Will Break” timer of around 30 seconds and a red countdown bar appears above your character. You have to reach your plot and drop the egg inside your ranch pen before it hits zero. A fast mount makes the difference across long distances, which is exactly why Kitsune’s speed pays for itself once you own one.

If a timer is already low, do not detour for a second egg. Bank the one you are holding, then head back out.

Raise Luck at the ranch board before you hatch
Use the board in your ranch to purchase Luck; for a 1 in 1Qi hatch, this is the only factor that meaningfully improves your chances. Better outcomes from Blackhole Eggs call for Luck above 74,000, and going beyond 78,000 expands the possible drops further. Kitsune requires a much higher value.
Testing by players suggests aiming for about 200K Luck for Kitsune hatches, and some have reported success after reaching that level. Consider it a goal to work toward, not a confirmed requirement. Even with high Luck, any one egg can still hatch something else.
There is also an unverified idea that a pity system grants Kitsune after about 50 Cherub or Blackhole Eggs. You can track your hatch count to investigate, though the theory has no confirmation.
Rebirth removes your cash and all Luck purchased from the board. Open any eggs you’ve saved before using Rebirth.
The full Kitsune farming loop

How to confirm you have Kitsune
A successful hatch drops Kitsune directly into your ranch, and its entry in the Index Pets tab stops being locked. You can also verify ownership from the All Items inventory screen, where the pet appears alongside everything else you own. Once it is there, the Rebirth 5 requirement is satisfied.
Equip Kitsune, feed it, and take a ride. You’ll feel its speed advantage over a Phoenix as soon as you start moving; that pace makes repeated runs of the egg circuit much quicker. Rebirth 6 needs a Kitsune as well, so keep farming rather than selling your new one.
