Roblox Clicker Simulator: How to Play (Full Guide)

Clicker Simulator is an incremental simulator on Roblox from Do Big’s Clicker Sim, first published on September 25, 2021 and sitting past 551 million visits. The loop is short and repeats forever: click to earn clicks, spend clicks on eggs and rebirths, equip the pets that come out, and use the bigger multiplier to unlock the next island. Everything else in the game is a variation on those four actions.

Quick answer: Pick a starter pet, click 20 times to clear the first tutorial quest, hatch a Basic Egg, then rebirth as soon as you can afford the price on the rebirth button (750 clicks for the first one) and equip your highest-boost pets from the inventory.

What each system in Clicker Simulator does

Before touching anything, it helps to know which button feeds which. Clicks are the only currency you generate by hand, and every other system either multiplies clicks or spends them.

Pick a starter pet and clear the first quests

Hatch Basic Eggs and read the pet odds

The second tutorial objective, “Open a Basic Egg”, points you at the cheapest egg on the starting island. Each egg lists its pets with rarity odds next to them, written as fractions such as 1 in 3 or 1 in 7. A Dog rolls at 1 in 3 from the Basic Egg, while a Pig sits at 1 in 7.

Keep hatching Basic Eggs while your click total allows it. Duplicates are not wasted, because pets stack in the inventory and you will eventually be able to equip several at once. The Flower Egg is the next tier on the spawn island and rolls from a stronger pool.

Rebirth: when to reset and what you keep

Rebirthing wipes your current click total and raises your click multiplier permanently. Pets, quest progress and unlocked islands are not touched. The first rebirth costs 750 clicks, and the tutorial follows it with a “Get 5 Rebirths” objective that tracks how many resets you have banked.

Rebirth the moment you can afford the price shown on the button. Holding onto clicks past that point earns you nothing, because the multiplier gained from resetting will regenerate the same total far faster. Later islands sell higher-tier rebirth buttons that convert clicks into rebirths at much better rates, which is how per-click values climb from a few hundred into the millions.

Equip pets and stack click boosts

Hatching a pet does not make it active. Open the inventory, sort by boost value, and equip the strongest pets you own. Your per-click number updates immediately and appears above your avatar as a floating figure such as +16 or +196, which is the fastest way to confirm an equip worked.

Free Gift menus on the spawn island hand out timed rewards, and one of them can grant the Epic Yeti, a pet carrying a +90 click boost that dwarfs anything from a Basic Egg. Equip it as soon as it lands. Potions from the inventory add temporary luck, click and hatch-speed multipliers, and stacking a luck potion before a run of egg openings is the cheapest way to chase rarer pets.

Double jump is unlocked as a movement upgrade and lets you reach floating islands and elevated platforms around the map. Higher islands sell additional multi-jumps, which are needed to reach some chests and portals.

Redeem codes for luck, click and hatch boosts

Codes grant timed boosts rather than pets in most cases, and they expire without warning. To redeem one, open the Codes button from the menu, paste the code into the text box, and press Redeem. The boost appears in your active effects list straight away.

Codes are case sensitive, so type them exactly as written. If the box returns an error, the code has expired.

Island portal costs and what each unlock adds

Portals at spawn sell access to new islands. Each island brings its own eggs, its own rebirth buttons and its own upgrade machines, so unlocking one and then buying its rebirth buttons is the standard progression step. Costs are listed in clicks and use short-scale abbreviations.

Desert Island and Candy Island sit between Forest and Beach in the portal order. Winter Island is also where the Auto Clicker Upgrade becomes available, which removes most of the manual clicking from that point on. Volcano Island adds pet enchanting, and Heaven Island adds a crafting cauldron plus a Grand Chest that your pets attack for gems and crafting items.

Confirm it worked and fix a stalled portal

Three on-screen checks tell you whether an action registered. A completed quest flips its counter to full and shows a claim button. A successful rebirth drops your click total to zero and raises the rebirth figure on your stats display. A newly equipped pet changes the number that floats above your character when you click.

If progress stops, the cause is almost always one of a few things. You may be below the price shown on the rebirth button. Your best pets may still be sitting unequipped in the inventory. Or a portal may have broken and stopped responding, which is a known glitch. Leaving the server and rejoining restores the portal without costing you any progress.

Once auto-clicking and higher-tier rebirth buttons are in place, the game shifts from manual tapping to a planning exercise. The decisions that matter are which upgrade machine to feed next and when to spend on the following portal, and the answer is usually the cheaper of the two.
