How to enter the Archives, skip dangerous sectors with gold, heal safely, beat Honcho, and handle every entity across all 1300 rooms.

The Archive Subfloor is the longest stretch in Roblox Doors, packing 1300 rooms into 26 sectors of 50 each. You do not have to clear every room by hand, though. With enough saved gold and a steady supply of healing items, you can skip the worst sectors and reach the end far faster than a full run suggests.

Quick answer: Hoard gold so you can pay to skip dangerous sectors, keep at least two or three Pizza slices at all times, use the Exit Door that spawns from Sector C to bank your progress, and finish Honcho’s box-sorting before he catches you to keep the run going.

How to enter the Archive Subfloor

There are two entrances. You can ride an elevator down from the lobby, or you can find the hidden door behind a Skull Lock and chains at Room 60 in The Hotel. Both lead to the same place, and once you are inside, every sector follows the same layout.

How sectors, gold skips, and Exit Doors work

Each sector holds 50 rooms. When you clear a sector, you arrive at a waiting area where you can restore health, restock items, and take an elevator to the next stretch. Sectors also carry short descriptions that hint at their conditions, such as Ventilation Error, which leaves many rooms dark.

The key mechanic is that you can pay to skip whole sectors instead of walking them. The first skip costs 100 gold, and each additional skip costs more than the last. Saving gold across easy sectors so you can buy your way past the hardest ones is the single most reliable way to finish the Archives.

From Sector C onward, an Exit Door spawns at the end of every sector. Taking it lets you leave the Archives and return to The Hotel without throwing away the whole run, which is your safety valve when a sector goes wrong.

Sector difficulty and which ones to prioritize

SectorWhat to expect
Sector AThe easiest start. Mostly Drones, with Bash possible but other entities rare. Use it to learn the mechanics and build gold.
Sector BDifficulty rises as more entities activate and Forget-Me-Not can appear. Start managing healing items and gold more carefully.
Sector C onwardCurrents introduce an electrical hazard, and Exit Doors begin spawning so you can bail out if needed.
Pizza Party sectorPrioritize it whenever it appears. Full of manageable Drones, and loaded with Pizza. Carry as much as you can hold.
Sector J onwardAlma is confirmed to start appearing. She is among the most dangerous entities here, so stay focused.

How to heal in the Archives

Three healing options exist across the floor. Bandages turn up in drawers and on the floor and restore a small amount, which is often enough to survive a single Drone hit. Pizza is the strongest option, stacks up to six, and should stay in your inventory even at full health because multiple active entities can drain you fast. Water Coolers appear at the end of sectors before the elevator and require a specific pour order.

Pick up the water cup from the side of the cooler. Note that the cup takes an inventory slot, so you cannot simply drop a bad batch and start over.

Pour from the red tap on the far left first, then from the blue tap on the far right. This exact combination produces healing water.
If you use the wrong taps, the water damages you instead. Because you cannot drop the cup, you have to drink the bad water, take the hit, and then heal it back afterward.

Tip: Refill on Pizza every single time the Pizza Party sector shows up, and never let your supply drop below two or three slices before entering a harder sector.

Honcho boss fight

At certain points the sector elevator gets hijacked by Honcho and reroutes you to his Executive Office. This can happen as early as A-50. You know it worked when the box-sorting completes and a cutscene plays showing Honcho smashing you through the floor, dropping you back into a normal run.

Walk up to the desk to trigger the opening cutscene, where Honcho throws you into a pit and jumps down to chase you.
Sort the boxes into their correct numbers before Honcho reaches you. Move quickly, because if he catches you mid-task the sorting becomes much harder to finish.
For an extra reward, hand Honcho a Starlight Bottle before the fight. His arms glow yellow, and completing the sequence earns the Star Employee badge.

All Archive entities and how to deal with them

The Archives mix returning threats with entities unique to the floor. Learn the tells for each one, since several punish looking, staying, or moving at the wrong moment.

EntityBehaviorHow to deal with it
Drones
Drones
Shadowy humanoid figures with sticky-note faces that wander rooms at random.Keep your distance; bumping into one deals 5 damage and knocks you down. When the clock hits 5:00 or 9:00, hide, because a stampede rushes through for 35 damage.
Bash
Bash
A fiery red Rush-style entity that sets you on fire instead of one-shotting you.Get into a locker fast once you spot it. The fire kills over time, so you have a short window to react.
Scribbles
Scribbles
A cluster of animated paper that tears through rooms flinging pages that deal rapid damage.Hide behind a wall, a large pillar, or in a closet. In a long hallway you can retreat far enough to escape the paper range.
Alma
Alma
A grayscale figure with glowing white eyes that circles you trying to enter view.Do not look at her. Watch the floor and turn away as she moves into frame. Looking for more than a second makes her dash at you repeatedly, and losing the closet minigame kills you.
Teller
Teller
A TV-headed humanoid on wheels that blocks doors and runs a ticketing system.Take the ticket offered. Watch the number on Teller’s screen and return the ticket the instant it matches yours. Miss it and Teller chases you, so hide in a closet.
Forget-Me-Not
Forget-Me-Not
Blue vine clusters over doorways tied to a memory minigame.Memorize the room before starting. Backtrack if something changed, go forward if nothing did. A wrong choice makes the flowers bite for heavy damage.
Ransom
Ransom
A pixelated glitchy face that appears on screen and demands 500 gold.Stop all inputs the moment you see it, then find 500 gold within the 90-second timer. Drawers hold boosted gold during this window, and failing costs you all your items.
Honcho
Honcho
A paper-like office worker with a redacted black square for a head who runs the Archives.During his encounter, sort boxes by their correct numbers before he arrives to trigger the continue cutscene.
Portrait
Portrait
A grey concrete-textured Roblox avatar that hides in bathroom mirrors.Do not stare at any mirror for more than 20 seconds or it cracks and Portrait appears. It may then copy your movements in the world but is completely harmless in that state.
CurrentsElectric puddles beside wall outlets that surge with electricity.Cross only when the puddle is quiet; sparks and crackling mean it will shock you. The puddles also make you slide, so change direction carefully. First appears in Sector C.
Fih
Fih
Decorative fish sitting in tanks throughout the Archives. No threat. Feed them Fih Food found in rooms to earn an achievement and their journal entry.

Core survival priorities

Save gold aggressively in every sector so you always have enough to skip the runs that feel most draining. Keep Pizza topped up and treat the Pizza Party sector as your main restock. When Ransom appears, freeze immediately, since a single accidental input starts the countdown. Take your time reading the reference room during Forget-Me-Not sections rather than rushing, and avoid staring at anything reflective in bathrooms so Portrait never activates. Combine those habits with the Exit Doors from Sector C and you can leave whenever a stretch turns against you without losing everything.
