In Rivals, Candy serves as the Spooky Event’s currency, and items in the event shop are costly. The Zombie Walk Emote is priced at 5,000 Candy. There is no hidden AFK farming method. For the quickest free progress, follow a brief daily routine: enable Candy earnings, use the Candy Rush boost on event quests, and take Contracts into those same matches.
Quick answer: Complete 20 duels to gain access to the Spooky Event Hub. Then finish your Daily Tasks each day, work on event quests while Candy Rush multiplies your first 200 Candy, and take care of Contracts at the same time.
Rivals Candy requirements: What locks Candy earning
Standard matches don’t pay out Candy right away. Two gates sit in front of every event quest, and newer accounts hit both.
- Your account needs 20 duels played before the Spooky Event Hub’s quest menu opens.
- Your regular Daily Tasks must be finished each day before event quests unlock.
- The event is limited-time, so Candy can only be earned while it runs.
- No Robux, pass, or specific weapon is required to start earning.
Playing match after match without clearing these gates first earns nothing for the event. That is why so many players think Candy is broken on their first day.

Add to Google Preferences →Daily Candy routine in Rivals
Do this once a day, preferably right after your tasks reset. A brief daily session earns more Candy per minute than grinding for one long weekend.

How Candy Rush works
Candy Rush activates once a day and speeds up your first 200 Candy earned that day by five times. Event quest rewards count, so the multiplier stays active until you reach the 200-Candy limit.
After the cap, Candy keeps dropping at the normal rate. You can grind past it, but each extra minute is worth far less. That math is what makes daily logins beat marathon sessions: skipping a day means losing that day’s boosted 200 entirely.
Contracts and event towers for extra Candy
Contracts
The Contracts section beside Daily Tasks awards Candy throughout the event. Its objectives involve weapon eliminations and playtime, so you can work on them during duels you were already going to play. Review the list before queuing and equip the weapon a Contract requires. This lets each elimination advance multiple goals.
Gargoyle Tower and Zombie Tower
The two event towers are the other free source of Candy. Gargoyle Tower is new this year, while Zombie Tower returns largely unchanged from last Halloween. Both are floor-by-floor climbs where every enemy on a level must go down before the path upward opens. You can play solo or with other players.
From the lobby, enter by scrolling to the bottom of the Spooky Event menu, or take the passage on the right and interact with the gargoyle statue after the SenseiWarrior NPC.
You can restore health and ammo only by collecting drops that spawn when a floor is cleared. You begin with a Handgun, Revolver, or Shorty. Grab an Assault Rifle if one drops, conserve ammo with melee whenever you can, and slide to avoid getting surrounded.
| Tower | Charm | Wrap | Skin |
|---|---|---|---|
| Gargoyle Tower | Gargoyle Head Charm | Conduction Wrap | Towerstone Wildcat Skin |
| Zombie Tower | Chombie Head Charm | Zombie Wrap | Towerstone Fists Skin |
These cosmetics are summit rewards, granted for reaching the top of each tower.
Prize Wheel and Haunted Chests
There are two wheels worth checking. The standard Prize Wheel comes from your Daily Task streak, which hands out one on days 2, 4, 6, and 7. The Spooky Prize Wheel is the event version, sold in the shop for 24 Keys per spin, 200 Keys for ten, or 480 Keys for 25.
| Spooky Prize Wheel result | Odds |
|---|---|
| Key | 27% |
| Haunted Chest | 25% |
| Haunted Chest (x3) | 20% |
Each Haunted Chest in the event shop costs 30 Candy and may contain the Candy Dance emote. Getting a chest from a wheel saves you that 30-Candy purchase.
Spins are random and never guarantee Candy. Treat the wheels as a bonus on top of quests, not a farming method, especially if you’re saving for a specific item.
Rivals Candy bundle prices in Robux
Buying Candy is optional, but the Shop sells it directly in a limited-time section. The green plus button beside your Candy counter jumps straight there.
| Bundle | Candy | Robux |
|---|---|---|
| Candy Bundle | +100 | 48 |
| Mega Candy Bundle | +400 | 160 |
| Super Candy Bundle | +900 | 360 |
| Ultra Candy Bundle | +4,500 | 1,400 |
| Legendary Candy Bundle | +11,000 | 3,000 |
The Legendary Candy Bundle comes with 30 Haunted Chests and exclusive event items. Compared with small packs, the Ultra and Legendary tiers offer much better Candy returns per Robux, making repeated 48-Robux bundle purchases the costliest way to reach a large target. The shop also sells the separate Bat Bundle, a cosmetics set rather than Candy.
Spooky Event shop costs: How long Candy takes
Decide which reward you want before farming. You can earn about 200 boosted Candy each day, plus more at the regular rate. Less expensive cosmetics still take days to unlock, while the emote may require several weeks.
| Item | Type | Candy cost |
|---|---|---|
| Haunted Chest | Chest | 30 |
| Jerm Charm | Charm | 1,000 |
| Brewery Wrap | Wrap | 2,000 |
| Acid Splash Universal Finisher | Finisher | 3,000 |
| Zombie Walk Emote | Emote | 5,000 |
Checking your Candy balance
While the event is active, your Candy balance appears at the top of the screen. If it increases after a quest, Contract, or bundle purchase, the Candy was credited. Finishing your Daily Tasks also clears the lock notice in the Spooky Event menu, confirming that Candy earning is enabled.
When the counter starts climbing noticeably slower, Candy Rush is spent for the day. That’s your cue to stop if you’re optimizing for time, and to come back after the next reset for another boosted 200.
