Where Did I Park My Car? puts you in a vast parking lot containing 100,000 cars that look almost alike, with just one key in your hand. Your vehicle is somewhere in the lot, but the game gives no location clue; the core loop is scanning large groups of cars until yours turns up. This search-focused simulator pays you for incorrect scans and offers upgrades that can cut a daunting hunt down to a few minutes.
Quick answer: You hold one key in a lot of 100,000 near-identical cars. Scan to eliminate wrong cars for cash, buy upgrades, and reach the one unlocked car, marked by a tall yellow beacon, to win.
The core loop: 100,000 cars and one key scan
E is a radius-based tool, not something you use on one car at a time: press E to mark the area around you and scan every car within that radius together. Cars you don’t own change from red to gray and add cash to your balance, so a scan that fails still pays out. The counter at the screen’s top shows your current-run progress toward eliminating 100,000 cars.

Scanned cars remain gray, and revisiting that ground brings up an “AREA ALREADY CHECKED” notice with no payout. Repeated coverage also wastes time and cooldown, so choose a lane and keep moving straight, activating the scan whenever it’s ready. Turning back or crossing lanes you’ve cleared is what slows a run down.

Two stats control the pace of your progress: Key Range determines the number of cars checked per press, while Key Cooldown controls the interval between presses. Initially, each scan reaches only a few cars; higher levels expand that to 81, 144, 201, 625, and ultimately 1,000 cars in a single press—enough to sweep a whole lane while jogging along it.

Add to Google Preferences →Upgrades that shorten a run
The Upgrades menu is where you improve the player stats that speed up the search, and scanned-car cash covers nearly all their costs. Since each level gets substantially more expensive, early on you should invest in the stat that boosts every scan.

| Upgrade | Effect | Example cost |
|---|---|---|
| Key Range | Cars checked per press (81, 144, 201, 625, 1,000) | $25 first level, up to $22,000 |
| Key Cooldown | Time between scans | Scales with level |
| Walk Speed | Movement speed between lanes | Scales with level |
| Valuable Luck | Spawn rate of high-tier loot | $12,000 (Level 5), $80,000 higher |

Of the upgrades, Key Range has the biggest effect on how long a run takes, as it benefits every press. After that, improve Walk Speed so you can get to unsearched areas faster and make use of that larger radius. Valuable Luck won’t bring you closer to your car; it improves the loot you collect, helping pay for costly upgrades later.
The store also sells the premium Parking Legend item for R$299, along with an option to remove 5,000 cars immediately for 9 Robux. This raises the counter, but your car may not be among the cars cleared.
Shopping carts scan the lot for you
After you unlock Cart 1, it sends a shopping cart rolling ahead, scanning cars along its route. Your key and the carts operate at the same time, letting carts cover lanes elsewhere in the lot. When you spawn beside the central road at the start of a run, the cart is already underway. With every cart upgrade, it may locate your vehicle before you do; its beacon can show up in the distance while you scan another lane.
| Cart upgrade | Effect | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Shopping Cart (Cart 1) | Unlocks one automated scanning cart | $5,000 |
| Cart Scan Rate | How often carts scan | $15,000 |
| Cart Range | Scan radius of each cart | $40,000 |
| Extra Carts | Additional carts running at once | $250,000 |
Random events during a run
Events begin automatically at timed intervals and can affect your earnings or what you can see. Some are useful to pursue, while others may seem disruptive without actually interrupting the search.

| Event | What happens |
|---|---|
| Car Rush | 2x cash on every car you scan for the duration |
| Golden Rush | Golden cars appear, paying large bonuses such as +$5,000 |
| Blackout | The lot goes dark; scanning and the yellow scan zone still work |
| UFO | A warning appears and a saucer beams down; keep moving to avoid abduction |
Use your largest bursts of scans during Car Rush, and look for golden cars while Golden Rush is active. Blackout may seem serious, but your key and scan area still function, so keep moving.
Loot and valuables on the asphalt
Scanned parking spaces can leave objects behind. Phones, wallets, loose change, and bundles of cash are common finds; diamond rings and gold watches are rarer top-tier loot that pay much more. Press E to collect an item, just as you do to use the key, and its name and value appear; individual pickups can award +$75, +$140, or +$250.
More Valuable Luck makes high-value loot appear more often. This is the quickest way to build enough cash for the cart upgrades, which cost more than basic car scans earn early in a run.
Finding the car and completing an escape
Before your scan reaches the right space, you get no closeness clue, hot-and-cold indicator, or map marker. A tall yellow beacon is the sole clue, appearing when a scan covers the correct spot. So you might find your car after checking 49,000 vehicles or not until 93,000; the counter shows the portion of the lot searched, not a set amount of progress toward finding it.

When the beacon appears, head over and press E beside the driver’s side to enter the car, then drive it out of the lot. The win screen verifies your escape, adds one to your escape count, and credits a bonus. The amount varies by run: payouts include $10,000, $17,500, $25,000, and $30,000. Once the escape is complete, a new hidden car appears in a reset lot, while your upgrades remain.
The cooperative and competitive multiplayer versions
Alongside the solo search, the concept runs in team-based versions with a different economy. In the cooperative mode, up to four players share one lot and hunt a single unlocked car together. Every car any teammate checks is eliminated for everyone, so the group splits up and sweeps different sections. A win awards the team 400 Gems and a +1 win, and daily lobby rewards start at 10 Gems on Day 1.
Here the in-match upgrades are bought with match cash from a ledger, and they cover different systems than the solo carts:
- Search radius, Search speed, and Walking speed for the player
- Search drones are flying companions that scan cars on their own.
- Drone scan speed, drone search power, and drone movement for those companions
Gems earned from wins feed a lobby meta-progression. You can buy permanent versions of the same stats, and you can roll for new car models at the vehicle stand. Each roll costs 10 Gems and pulls from a weighted table.
| Car | Roll chance | Car | Roll chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | 50% | Phantom | 0.8% |
| Falcon | 25% | Venom | 0.15% |
| Ranger | 14% | Titan | 0.04% |
| Viper | 7% | Apex | 0.009% |
| Stallion | 3% | Velocity | 0.001% |
A separate competitive multiplayer update pits searchers against each other in the same lot, each chasing a different hidden car. That mode adds disruption items such as scanners, bombs, nukes, and a honk, along with a reveal grenade that changes what rivals can see, plus a blue zone that forces players to keep moving.

Hard Mode and the Parking Lot Veteran badge
Hard Mode sends you to its own lot of 100,000 cars, without any of your usual advantages. You start with the basic key and walking speed, and carts are unavailable, leaving you able to scan just one car per press. It’s an endurance challenge, not a shortcut to escaping.
Reach 100,000 car checks over your lifetime to earn the Parking Lot Veteran badge. Checks count across multiple runs, so most players get it on their second or third search instead of in a single session. A server leaderboard and a Global Leaderboard both list escape and cash totals.
Not the same as Park a Car
The similar name causes confusion, so it is worth being clear that Park a Car is a different Roblox game. Instead of searching a lot, you get into a vehicle and drive it down an obstacle course to a marked parking spot for cash, with longer distances paying more.

The loop there is about buying faster and more valuable cars, parking each one to the full percentage inside a green bay, and collecting the payouts back at the garage. It shares the parking theme but none of the search mechanics.
