Ryujin Guide: Codes, Combat, and Progression (August 2026)

Everything you need to redeem codes, train the right stats, and win fights in the Roblox brawler Ryujin.

Everything you need to redeem codes, train the right stats, and win fights in the Roblox brawler Ryujin.

Ryujin drops you into a martial-arts gang war where nobody hands you a moveset. You build a fighter from scratch by raising stats, learning styles, and climbing the ranks of the Ryujin Association. The early game is a grind, but a phone, a few codes, and the right training order make it far less painful.

Quick answer: To redeem codes, reach C-rank potential, buy a phone for 50,000 cash at the Ryujin Fighters Association, open the phone, tap the Codes app, paste a working code, and press Confirm.

Get a phone and unlock code redemption

The phone is the single most important early purchase. It handles code redemption, the bank app, job tracking, and GPS waypoints. You spawn with only $100, so your first job is earning money and raising your potential before you can use codes.

Launch Ryujin on Roblox and complete the tutorial. Take jobs from the quest boards around the city, and punch ATMs along your route for extra cash.
Raise your character until you hit C-rank potential. Code redemption stays locked until you reach it, even if you already own a phone.
Head to the Ryujin Fighters Association (the building marked “Red Paper”) and talk to the front desk NPC. Buy the phone for 50,000 cash.
Open the phone, select the Codes app, paste a code into the text box, and press Confirm. If it worked, the rewards land instantly and the code clears from the field.

Note: If a code fails, it is usually expired or mistyped. Copy and paste it exactly, and try rejoining a fresh server if a brand-new code refuses to work.

Ryujin Coins are a premium currency. Spend them on cosmetic gear like cloaks, gloves, and halos, or use them in place of Won to upgrade gang base equipment such as beds, treadmills, and punching bags. They also pay for Clan Rerolls at 25 coins each.

Which stats to train first

Your build lives or dies on stat allocation. Stamina comes first because it feeds everything else, including your ability to keep training. Aim for roughly 2,500 stamina before spreading into other stats. Focus on one stat at a time rather than thinning your gains across the board.

StatWhat it doesBest training method
StaminaCombat endurance and the base for training everything elseJump rope
AgilityStrike speed, running speed, and faster grippingTreadmills or jumping jacks
StrengthDamage output for muscle-based stylesHandstand push-ups
DurabilityDamage resistance and tankinessWeight twists
Battle SenseUnlocks evasive moves and scales certain stylesShadow boxing

Tip: If you want a lean build instead of a bulky one, use muscle inhibitor items so you keep the strength benefits without piling on muscle. Lean builds also matter for critical hits, covered below.

Core combat mechanics

Fights in Ryujin reward timing and awareness, not just raw stats. These are the systems that decide most exchanges.

MechanicHow it works
Combat tagTriggers when you are attacked and blocks health regen for 30 seconds. Leaving while tagged costs 33% of your money and any temporary items.
Perfect blockBlock and press M1 exactly as the attack lands. This stuns the attacker and builds Battle Sense.
Critical hitDeals 33% bonus damage, but only for lean builds with base fat and muscle.
GrippingPress B on a knocked-out player to grip them. Higher agility grips faster.
EvasionUnlocked from the 25th Beam Evasion NPC trainer. It charges as you deal or take damage, then activates with R to break out of stuns.
AuraDisplays on players who are 22,500+ stats ahead of an opponent, or anyone with over 50,000 total stats. You can customize it in settings.

Manage fatigue and hunger

Two meters quietly gate your progress. Fatigue builds from training, running, and using skills. At 90% fatigue, training shuts off entirely, so clear it by resting in an infirmary bed before it caps out.

Hunger drains over time. When it hits 0%, both stamina and health regeneration slow down. Buy food at the hamburger shop or the 24 Market to keep it topped up during long training sessions.

Clans and rerolls

Clans give permanent passive bonuses and unlock unique moves, and your clan name shapes how your character name displays. You get a random clan at creation, so rerolling is how you chase the strong ones. Each Clan Reroll costs 25 Ryujin Coins from the in-game Shop.

RarityRoll chanceTop clans
Mythic1%Park, Kure, Mikazuchi
Legendary5%Seong, Jang, Choi, Haruo, Sta, Wongsawat
Rare14%Biscuit, Hammer, Sano, Morow, Takeru
Uncommon20%Zenin, Hanayama, Akezawa
Common60%Tatsumi, Yamashita, Hanada

The best targets are the Mythic and Legendary clans, with Park, Kure, Mikazuchi, Seong, and Jang sitting at the top. Common, Uncommon, and Rare clans are all fairly weak, so reroll them once you have coins to spare. Wiping your character also rerolls your clan, but that resets your progress and is rarely worth it once you have invested time.

Between the phone, a smart stat order, and a steady flow of Clan Rerolls from codes, the early grind shrinks fast. Lock in stamina, learn to perfect block, and keep an eye on fatigue and hunger, and you will move up the Ryujin Association ranks with far less friction.
