Vehicles are the whole point of San Diego Border Roleplay. You spawn one, drive it to the checkpoint, and either get waved through, inspected, or chased down by someone in a faster car. The garage is split across four teams, and the stat sheet matters more than the paint job.
Quick answer: Every team can drive for free — the Tayora Cambria (128 mph) for Civilians, the Fjord Crownline (129 mph) for Border Patrol and Police, and all three Coast Guard boats. The fastest vehicle in the game is the Mercel Aether Concept at 242 mph for $25,000,000, and the quickest off the line is the Voltera Roadster X at 2.0 seconds to 60.
How vehicles are unlocked in San Diego Border Roleplay
Most vehicles are bought with in-game cash you earn from smuggling runs or from enforcement salaries. A smaller group is locked behind Robux, and one — the Hakura Vector R — comes from daily rewards rather than a purchase. Your team decides which list you can shop from, so a Police officer cannot buy the Civilian hypercars and a Civilian cannot spawn a patrol truck.
A few models show up on more than one list, and the price and stats are not always identical. The Dager Defiant costs $70,000 and hits 170 mph as a Civilian car, but Border Patrol and Police pay $75,000 for a 155 mph version. The Dager Striker is $60,000 at 150 mph for Police and $90,000 at 170 mph for Border Patrol. Check the numbers on your own team’s list before you spend.
Note: nothing forces you to buy anything on day one. Each team has a free option that is good enough to run the border loop.
| Free vehicle | Team | Top Speed | 0-60 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tayora Cambria | Civilian | 128 mph | 8.6s |
| Fjord Crownline | Border Patrol / Police | 129 mph | 7.1s |
| Police Patrol Boat | Coast Guard | 61 mph | — |
| Response Boat Medium | Coast Guard | 58 mph | — |
| Weaponized Dinghy | Coast Guard | 66 mph | — |

Add to Google Preferences →Fastest vehicles by top speed
Top speed only pays off on the long stretches, but on a map built around outrunning a checkpoint it pays off often. The Mercel Aether Concept sits at the top at 242 mph, and it is also the single most expensive purchase in the game at $25 million. Everything else worth chasing clusters in the 200 mph range.
| Vehicle | Team | Top Speed | 0-60 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mercel Aether Concept | Civilian | 242 mph | 2.3s |
| Fugatti Divino | Civilian | 236 mph | 2.4s |
| Koenix Gemina | Civilian | 225 mph | 2.6s |
| Lambro Aventra | Police | 217 mph | 2.9s |
| Veylan Apex | Civilian | 212 mph | 2.3s |
| Mercel GT AMX | Civilian | 208 mph | 3.5s |
| Valenza Strada 70 | Civilian | 205 mph | 2.8s |
| Lambro Galante | Civilian | 202 mph | 3.3s |
| Auvio RIO | Civilian | 201 mph | 3.4s |
| Rennex T9 | Civilian | 200 mph | 3.5s |
| Voltera Roadster X | Civilian | 200 mph | 2.0s |
On the enforcement side the ceiling is lower. The Lambro Aventra is the fastest Police car at 217 mph, and Border Patrol tops out with the Chevran Vetta C8 at 180 mph. Coast Guard boats are much slower by design, with the Weaponized Dinghy leading at 66 mph.
Quickest 0-60 times
City driving rewards acceleration far more than a high top speed. If you spend your time weaving through traffic, restarting from a stop, or peeling away from an inspection lane, these are the numbers to look at.
| Vehicle | 0-60 | Top Speed |
|---|---|---|
| Voltera Roadster X | 2.0s | 200 mph |
| Veylan Apex | 2.3s | 212 mph |
| Mercel Aether Concept | 2.3s | 242 mph |
| Fugatti Divino | 2.4s | 236 mph |
| Ducetti Streetfighter V4 | 2.6s | 186 mph |
| Koenix Gemina | 2.6s | 225 mph |
| Valenza Strada 70 | 2.8s | 205 mph |
| Nissari Apex GT | 2.8s | 196 mph |
| Lambro Aventra | 2.9s | 217 mph |
| Voltera Cyberhauler | 3.0s | 130 mph |
The Voltera Roadster X is the best all-round performer if you want both halves of the equation, pairing a 200 mph ceiling with the quickest launch in the game. The Veylan Apex is the close second, trading two tenths of a second for 12 extra mph.
Vehicles that cost Robux
Eight vehicles skip the cash economy entirely. They are all on the Civilian list, and a couple of them are among the fastest things you can drive without grinding millions.
| Vehicle | Price | Top Speed | 0-60 |
|---|---|---|---|
| Transline Metro 40 | 499 Robux | 63 mph | 4.1s |
| Lambro Uros | 599 Robux | 190 mph | 3.6s |

| Royalle Daybreak | 599 Robux | 152 mph | 3.5s |
| Aegis Cashmaster (Armored) | 639 Robux | 150 mph | 5.9s |
| Valenza Strada 70 | 699 Robux | 205 mph | 2.8s |

| Voltera Roadster X | 999 Robux | 200 mph | 2.0s |

All Border Patrol vehicles
Border Patrol leans on trucks and SUVs, with one armored option and one sports car at the top of the list. The Vanguard Rampart is the slowest thing here by a wide margin, so treat it as a presence vehicle rather than a pursuit unit.

All Police vehicles
The Police list overlaps heavily with Border Patrol but adds a motorcycle, a muscle car, and the only 200+ mph enforcement vehicle in the game. The Lambro Aventra costs $2,000,000, which makes it a long-term goal rather than a starter purchase.

All Coast Guard boats
Coast Guard is the smallest lineup and the only water-based one. There is nothing to buy — all three boats are free, and the spread between the slowest and fastest is just eight mph.
| Boat | Price | Top Speed |
|---|---|---|
| Weaponized Dinghy | Free | 66 mph |
| Police Patrol Boat | Free | 61 mph |
| Response Boat Medium | Free | 58 mph |
If you are starting from zero, the free cars are enough to run the checkpoint loop and build a bank balance, and the first upgrade worth saving for is something in the 140–155 mph range like the Beamer M135X or Auvio R3S. The seven-figure hypercars are status symbols more than practical tools, but the Aether Concept’s 242 mph does mean nobody catches you on the open road. The full store sits inside the experience itself, so you can compare prices against your current balance before committing.
