Chapter 7 Season 4 turned Fortnite’s lobby into a cheat console. Alongside the Override Consoles you fight over mid-match, Epic Games added Lobby Hacks — real codes you type into an admin panel before you ever drop in. They hand out Sprite Dust, XP, Gizmos, loading screens, and exclusive Cheat Master Sprite variants, and each one only works once per account.

Quick answer: Open the …/ admin panel button in the top-right corner of the Fortnite lobby, type a code such as OVERRIDEXP, and hit Submit. The reward lands on your account immediately.

How to redeem a Lobby Hack code in the admin panel

Load into the Fortnite lobby. Lobby Hacks cannot be entered mid-match — the in-game Cheat Codes you pick up on the island are a completely separate system.
Find the admin panel button in the upper-right corner of the lobby screen. Selecting it opens a small pop-up window with a text field.
Type or paste one code into the field. Capitalization does not matter, so gottagofast and GottaGoFast both work.
Press Submit. A valid code applies instantly and the reward shows up right away — XP is added to your progress, Sprite Dust appears in your pool, and Sprites or loading screens are unlocked on the spot. Repeat the process one code at a time.

Every Lobby Hack code and its reward

Seventeen codes are live in Override so far. Several are tied to the season’s crossovers and partner campaigns — Sonic the Hedgehog, Tetris, Persona 5, and 99 Nights in the Forest all have their own entry.

Note: if you already own one of the Sprites a code grants, you receive 10,000 Sprite Dust instead of a duplicate. That makes the Sprite codes worth entering even after you have caught the variant elsewhere.

The rules that govern Lobby Hacks

Each code is a one-shot per account. Once it applies, that code is dead for you permanently, even if it stays valid for everyone else. There is no way to re-roll a reward or trade it.

Codes stay redeemable until Epic Games pulls them, and none have expired so far. That is not a guarantee of a long shelf life, though — a promotional code can be switched off at any point in the season, so entering them promptly is the safe play.

Rewards themselves are not consumed by the redemption. Sprite Dust drops into the same pool you spend on Loot Hacks, and Gizmos like Cheat Code Locators and Extraction Accelerators sit in your inventory for use in a later match.

Why a Lobby Hack code is not working

An invalid or unavailable message almost always comes down to one of four things. Work through them in order before assuming a code is fake.

CauseWhat to do
Typo in the entryCopy the code exactly. Spelling matters even though capitalization does not.
Already redeemedCheck your Sprite collection, Sprite Dust total, or locker — the reward is likely already on the account.
Code was pulledNothing can be done. Retired promo codes stop working for everyone.
Server problemsWait out the downtime and retry. If you cannot reach the lobby at all, the panel will not accept anything.

Where new codes come from

Lobby Hacks are distributed outside the game entirely. Epic hands them out through social media posts, promotions, and real-world campaigns with partner brands and studios, which is why several of the current batch are tied to specific companies rather than to Fortnite itself. Official Fortnite social accounts are the most reliable place to catch them as they drop.

More are expected as Override rolls on, particularly whenever a new gaming collab goes live. Given that codes can be retired without warning and each one only fires once, the practical approach is simple — redeem everything on the list now, and check back after each major update.
