The Schematicbot is the roadside station that finally gives your stack of blue schematics a purpose. It arrived with the Drilling Thunder update that pushed Scrap Mechanic out of early access and into 1.0, and its whole job is turning schematics and scanned objects into recipes you can build at the Craftbot. Finding one is the hard part, since it only shows up in a few places and the roads between them are patrolled by hostile bots.
Quick answer: Drive the roads out from the Mechanic Station and look for a small blue kiosk near a Farmer Shack. Interact with it, drag items into it, and hit scan to unlock their blueprints, or feed it a schematic box to unlock a random recipe you do not already own.
Where to find the Schematicbot
Schematicbots spawn on the side of the road, and they almost always sit next to a Farmer Shack. The station itself is easy to miss. It looks like a small information kiosk with a glowing blue bulb on top, so scan the roadside for that blue light rather than a large structure.
The spawn is not guaranteed at every shack, so expect to visit a few before one appears. Many players report finding their first Schematicbot roughly a mile or more out from the Mechanic Station, often as part of a small shantytown along the road. Since Farmer Shacks in 1.0 tend to spawn further out than they used to, plan to travel and keep an eye out for seeker bots that can ambush you in the open.
Tip: Once you locate a Schematicbot, mark it. If you have the portable mini-Craftbot with you, craft a beacon and place it next to the station so you can navigate back to it easily later.
How to use the Schematicbot
The Schematicbot works much like a dressbot. You interact with it, drop items into its slots, and it converts them into recipes for the Craftbot. There are two separate ways to unlock recipes with it.
Scan common items first for better schematic pulls
The random unlock from a schematic box only draws from blueprints you have not already collected. Quest rewards and trading blueprints are excluded from that pool. Because of that, the order you unlock things in changes your odds.
Scan the common, easy-to-reach items yourself before spending schematic boxes. When those cheap blueprints are already in your Craftbot, they can no longer roll from a box, which raises the chance that each box hands you something rarer and more useful. Ruins and Farmer Shacks are good places to gather those ordinary items to scan.

How to confirm it worked
After a scan or a schematic box, open your Craftbot and check its recipe list. A newly unlocked item appears there and can be built once you have the required materials. If a blueprint does not show up from a box, it is usually because you already owned it, or because it is tied to a quest or trade route that the schematic pool skips over.
Getting to a Schematicbot early is worth the risk of the drive. It converts a growing pile of otherwise idle schematics into real crafting options, and combined with steady scanning it quickly fills out what you can build back at base.
