Companions arrived in Sell Lemons with the V1.2.0 update on July 24th, 2026, adding a set of collectible followers you pin to your account. They are purely cosmetic. None of them boost cash, farming speed, or Ascension gains, so the only reason to chase them is to show them off on a server. There are six in total, and each one is tied to a specific milestone rather than a store purchase or a hidden area.
Quick answer: Unlock the six Companions by growing a 10-Star Fruit, completing a Void Evolution (Void Mass), collecting every badge (Fruit Aura), reaching 777 Ascensions (Angel), and taking part in two separate developer-hosted chaotic/admin events.
Every Sell Lemons Companion and how to unlock it
Four Companions come from normal progression, and two are reserved for special events. The table below lists each unlock condition. Where a Companion has a confirmed in-game name, it appears next to its requirement.

| Companion | How to unlock |
|---|---|
| 10-Star Fruit reward | Grow a fruit with 10 stars. |
| Void Mass | Complete a Void Evolution. |
| Fruit Aura | Collect every badge in the game. |
| Angel | Reach 777 Ascensions. |
| Event Companion 1 | Take part in a developer-hosted chaotic/admin event. |
| Event Companion 2 | Take part in a second qualifying chaotic/admin event. |

Add to Google Preferences →The four progression Companions
These are the Companions you can earn on your own time, without waiting for anything. They range from a quick one-off task to a long endgame grind.
Grow a 10-Star Fruit

Plant fruit trees and keep upgrading them until one produces a fruit rated at 10 stars. Higher star counts depend on how far your farm has progressed, so newer accounts will need to invest in orchard upgrades first. The Companion unlocks the moment a 10-Star Fruit grows.
Void Mass — complete a Void Evolution
Void Mass is tied to Evolution. Progress until you unlock Void Evolution, then equip a fruit and evolve it into its Void form. Finishing that Evolution grants the Companion automatically.
Fruit Aura — collect every badge

Fruit Aura requires full badge completion, which is one of the longer targets on the list. You need every badge currently available, including tougher ones like Good Samaritan and Cosmic Farmer that sit behind the game’s secret key routes. Check your badge collection regularly, since later updates can add new badges you will also need to earn.
Angel — reach 777 Ascensions
Angel is the biggest grind of the group. Ascensions reset your progress for a permanent multiplier, and you need 777 of them, so this Companion is aimed at dedicated late-game players. The faster and more efficient your farming loop, the sooner each reset comes around and the quicker you close in on 777.
The two event Companions
The final two Companions cannot be earned through standard play. Each one is granted for joining a developer-hosted chaotic or admin event, and they are counted separately, so you need to be present for two qualifying events to collect both.
These events run only occasionally and do not follow a fixed schedule. Watch official announcements and community channels so you are online when one goes live. No official date is currently confirmed for the next chaotic event, so there is nothing to grind toward here beyond staying active and ready to join.
How to confirm and equip a Companion
Once you meet a requirement, the matching Companion is added to your collection and can be equipped from your Companion menu. Since they are cosmetic, equipping one changes only what follows you around the server. It has no effect on your income, upgrades, or Ascension count.
If you are going for all six, clear the four progression Companions first because they are entirely in your control. Save the two event Companions for whenever the developers next host a chaotic event, and keep an eye on future patch notes in case new Companions and milestones are added.
