Ranking up in Shindo Life is the prestige system that keeps your character growing after you hit the level cap. It resets your level back to 1, but hands you permanent stat boosts, extra starting points, spins, and a higher EXP multiplier every time. The catch is that you have to reach level 1,000 first, so ranking fast really means leveling fast, then repeating the climb.

Quick answer: Reach level 1,000, then interact with the RANK scroll to reset to level 1 and move up a rank. You can also pay 50,000 RELL Coins to rank up instantly with no level requirement. Join the RELL World and RELL GAMES groups first for permanent 2x XP so every climb is faster.

How ranking up works in Shindo Life

The maximum level is 1,000, and that cap never changes no matter how many times you rank up. Ranking is a separate prestige track layered on top of leveling. When you rank up, only your XP and stats reset to level 1. Everything you have earned stays with you.

Your ninja tools, abilities, bloodlines, element levels, weapons, modes, and other unlocks all carry over. That means bloodline mastery you have already ground out stays maxed after a reset, which is a big reason the second and later climbs feel much quicker than the first.

Ranks are grouped into prestige tiers using letters. F0 is unranked, then you move through D, C, B, A, S, V, X, Y, Z, and finally Max. Each letter tier has three steps (for example D1, D2, D3). You earn spins and a slightly higher EXP boost at every single rank, but the larger jump in starting points and max stats only lands when you cross into a new letter tier.

Note: Stat-based rewards stop increasing after S1. From S rank onward, your starting points and max stat cap are already at the ceiling, so higher tiers mainly add more spins and a bigger EXP multiplier.

Two ways to rank up

There are only two paths to a higher rank, and both end at the same RANK prompt.

Reach level 1,000, or gather 50,000 RELL Coins if you want to skip the level requirement. The paid route lets you rank up instantly at any level.
Find the RANK scroll and interact with it. Select ACCEPT when it asks whether you wish to rank up. Your character then advances to the next rank.

You will know it worked when your level display drops back to 1 and your stat gains per level increase. Your new rank also shows next to your name in the player list. If nothing happens on the free route, you are almost certainly not yet at level 1,000, since that is the only requirement for a normal rank up.

Reach level 1,000 fast

Since a rank up requires the level cap, the fastest way to rank is to level as efficiently as possible. The best activity changes as you grow stronger, so match your grind to your current level band.

Turn on permanent 2x XP first

Before anything else, join both developer groups for a free, permanent 2x XP bonus that also doubles daily rewards. You need both memberships for the full effect.

Join RELL World and RELL GAMES from the Roblox site or app.
Fully close and relaunch Shindo Life so the game reads your new memberships. The higher XP payout shows the first time you deal damage or finish a quest.

XP loops by level band

Level bandFastest activityStat priority
1–50Hold basic attack on training logs in any cityTai (more hit damage means more XP per hit)
50–800Green scroll quests in Ember VillageChi, Nin, Health
800–1,000Boss farming, starting in Shikai Forest then Shindai ValleyBoss-focused bloodlines
OvernightAFK on a log with an auto-clicker, or an XP pond in Shikai Forest

Training logs pay XP for every hit with no travel or death risk, which makes them ideal until around level 50. Put your points into Tai during this phase so each swing hits harder and earns more.

Past level 50, green scroll and story quests in Ember Village become faster. Accept one quest at a time, follow the red on-screen icon to the target enemies, clear the required count, then teleport back for the next. You also earn XP just from dealing damage during the fight. Running in a squad speeds this up, since you gain XP when a squad member completes an objective.

Once your stats and bloodlines can handle it, boss farming becomes the quickest XP in the game. Shindai Valley is efficient after level 800 because it holds three large bosses close together. Big bosses go down faster and reward more than humanoid ones, so prioritize them. Do not attempt this on a fresh character, since weak stats get you killed instead of leveled.

Every prestige tier and its rewards

Each new letter tier raises the stat points you start with at level 1 and lifts your maximum stat cap, up to the ceiling at S rank. Spins and the EXP multiplier keep climbing all the way to Max.

Prestige tierStart pointsMax stat capSpinsEXP boost
F0 (Unranked)05,00001.5x

A1–A34,0005,800352.7–2.9x
S1–S36,0006,000403–3.2x
V1–V36,0006,000423.3–3.5x
X1–X36,0006,000443.6–3.8x
Y1–Y36,0006,000473.9–4.2x
Z1–Z36,0006,00047–504.4–4.8x
Max (Prestige 10)6,0006,000505x

Reaching Max prestige also comes with 50 spins plus a short window of extra 2x EXP on the rank up itself. Because each tier compounds your stats and multiplier, every rank makes the next run to 1,000 faster than the last.

Ranking versus leveling

Leveling raises your base stats and unlocks what gear you can equip, and it progresses through any combat that earns XP. Ranking is the long game that permanently boosts those gains, but it demands a full climb to 1,000 each time. The two work together. A higher rank starts you with more points and a bigger EXP multiplier, which shortens the very grind you need to rank again.

Reaching a character’s full potential means ranking up many times over, which means leveling to 1,000 that many times. Keep the loop tight. Logs early, Ember Village quests through the mid-game, and boss farming once your rebuilt character can survive the hits, and each prestige tier will fall faster than the one before.
