Rebirth is the reset-for-multipliers system that carries long-term progress in Shoot for Eggs. Press it and the game wipes your current Cash, your damage stat, and your levels. In return, your damage climbs faster and your animals pay out more Cash per second, permanently. Those boosts apply to everything you do afterward, which is why pressing it on schedule beats hoarding Cash.
Quick answer: Rebirthing resets your level, damage, and Cash, while permanently improving damage growth and Cash earnings. Press the Rebirth button when Ready is shown over it.
What Rebirth resets and the multipliers it grants
Rebirth works like a soft reboot: your Cash, damage, and levels return to a low starting point, and you begin the run again. In exchange, you keep two permanent boosts. One increases damage growth, letting you crack eggs faster, even the tougher ones. The other raises the Cash each animal on your plot generates per second, helping you recover your reset balance and eventually surpass it.
A run documented the bonuses granted at one particular threshold. Use those figures to understand the reward pattern, not as a permanent chart; both the amounts and the requirement change as you advance.
| Stat | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| Bullet gain | x2.5 |
| Cash gain | x3.0 |
| Ammo / speed | x1.8 |
| Income | x2.0 |
At first, you may hardly notice that you lack these boosts. Near one million Cash, though, the damage and income difference stands out, and you can hit a wall if you have not Rebirth-ed. Every reset adds to the gains, making your income grow faster each time.

The Rebirth menu displays the Cash target you must meet before you can reset. In one recorded session, the requirement was $27M. Cash is not capped at that amount; it continues accumulating, so ignoring the menu can leave you well past the target without any benefit from the extra balance.

As soon as Rebirth becomes available, the button on the left gains a Ready label. Triggering it then avoids leaving the most Cash unused. The menu shows the remaining amount too—for example, it might say “Need $20.7M more cash” toward a $27M target. Check that figure to decide when to activate Rebirth rather than estimating from your balance.
Sometimes the button needs another press to work. During one session, a tap at roughly $3,000,000 did nothing, but a subsequent attempt succeeded. If the button seems unresponsive once, try again before assuming you lack the requirement.
Reaching the Rebirth threshold fast
Hitting the Cash requirement quickly comes down to stacking damage and income before you snipe eggs for pets. Run these in order each time your balance resets.

Once the egg hatches, the pet starts generating passive Cash, which feeds back into upgrades and pushes you toward the Rebirth threshold. A Lucky Egg hatches in roughly 20 seconds, while larger eggs take minutes. When the Ready label lights up, press Rebirth and start the loop again with stronger multipliers.
Guns that unlock after a Rebirth
The top shelf of the Gun Shop stays locked until you Rebirth. Below it, the Cash-only ladder runs through Slingshot, Flintlock, Revolver, Musket, MP5, Crossbow, M16, P90, AK-47, Blaster, and Plasma Gun, with the Lever Action Rifle near the top. Rebirth opens the five weapons above that, and you then buy each one with Cash as usual.
| Gun | Rarity | How to unlock |
|---|---|---|
| Flamethrower | — | Rebirth, then buy with Cash |
| Sniper | — | Rebirth, then buy with Cash |
| Grenade Launcher | — | Rebirth, then buy with Cash |
| Minigun | — | Rebirth, then buy with Cash |
| RPG | Mythic | Rebirth, then $5,000,000 |
After Rebirth, the RPG costs $5,000,000 and is the most powerful gun on that shelf; no later weapon is documented. A second reset makes that price reachable sooner, since each Rebirth accelerates income. In one logged run, the RPG destroyed every egg with a single shot for the rest of the session, including a Transcendent Egg.
How to confirm the Rebirth worked
Once Rebirth succeeds, a previously restricted gun row shows a regular Cash price rather than requiring another Rebirth. Purchase and equip the weapon, then fire it. Your damage grows more quickly than it did before, and Cash returns at a faster rate than before the reset.
The Cash price, stat threshold, and exact carryover details have not been published, and may vary with your server and progress. Before confirming, check the text on the Rebirth button; do not make decisions about selling or keeping animals based on an assumed reset. Only the button in your server can confirm the current requirement.
