During the Final Selection questline in Slayers 2, Klien asks you to recover his missing Nichirin Katana. The blade sits on the ground below his position, and returning it moves you straight into the next objective. The whole errand takes about a minute once you know where to drop down.
Quick answer: Talk to Klien under the large wisteria tree, head southwest and drop down the cliff to the base of the stone wall, press [T] to pick up the Nichirin Katana, then climb back and talk to Klien again.
Where Klien gives the Nichirin Katana quest
Klien is stationed beneath a massive wisteria tree near the Demon Corp base camp on the mountain. Approach him and press [T] to open the chat. This triggers the objective to find his lost blade, tracked as “Nichirin Katana 0/1” followed by “Return to Klien 0/1”.
You do not need a mount or any special gear for this step. The katana is close by, just below the plateau where Klien sits.
With the quest active, leave the plateau beside Klien and head roughly southwest. Walk off the grassy cliff edges and drop down through the canyon toward the rocky wall below.
Continue toward the large stone wall at the bottom of the ravine. The Nichirin Katana lies directly on the grass beside one of the wall’s corners, around the bend from where you landed.
Turn back toward the cliff and climb up to Klien. Use the wall climb prompt ([T] to start and stop climbing) along with dashes to scale the rock face back to the plateau.
When you return the katana, Klien says “Here is your blade” and a “+30 Wen” pop-up appears on screen. You receive 30 Wen and 120 EXP for finishing the errand.
The clearest sign of success is the quest tracker switching to the next objective, “Find Rika 0/1”. Rika is found further along the mountain canyon, sitting on top of wooden barrels, so head that way once the reward lands.
