Slime Seas NPC and Station Locations (Roblox)

Slime Seas NPC and Station Locations (Roblox)

Slime Seas splits its interactive characters into two groups that work very differently. Some are classic NPCs you walk up to and talk with, such as quest givers, weapon merchants, and boat spawners. Others are not characters at all but fixed crafting stations on Hub Island that you use directly without any dialogue.

📍
Quick answer: Chief Brak III and the Potion and Blacksmith Stations sit on Hub Island in the Slime Forest zone. Brigurd and the starter Merchant are on Starter Island. Witch Doctor Baba is in World 3, Adventurer Dave stands outside the Lord Rima Boss Room, and Ash waits on the Ice Bridge above that same boss area.

NPCs and stations by location

The map is organized by zones, with Slime Forest serving as the opening area. Hub Island acts as the central town for that zone and holds most of the shared services, while Starter Island is where the first combat loop takes place.

Who to talk to first

Chief Brak III on Hub Island is the intended first stop since he begins the main story arc. In practice, the NPC that matters most during your first hour of play is Brigurd on Starter Island. His repeatable quests are the cleanest way to reach level 30, which is the recommended threshold for moving on to the next island.

Clearing Brigurd's rotation typically nets roughly 2,000 to 3,000 gold, enough for a proper early weapon from the Merchant nearby, along with stat points to start shaping a build. Start the story with Chief Brak III, then grind Brigurd until your gear and level are ready.

🎰
Tip: The Starter Island Merchant sits right next to the World Spawn and the Daily Spinner. Spin the wheel at the start of every session since it can drop Upgrade Crystals used at the Blacksmith Station.

Potion Station on Hub Island

There is no potion vendor NPC in Slime Seas. Potions are produced at a standalone Potion Station located in the central square of Hub Island, marked by a large neon "Potions" sign. You interact with the station directly and craft whatever you need.

Witch Doctor Baba in World 3 expands the recipe pool through her questline, but she does not sell finished potions. She is a gate for new recipes, not a merchant.

PotionLesserGreaterSuperior
Gold1.2x for 3m1.4x for 15m1.6x for 30m
EXP1.2x for 3m1.25x for 15m1.5x for 30m
Power1.2x for 3m1.3x for 15m1.5x for 30m
Luck1.2x for 3m1.5x for 15m2x for 30m

Luck potions scale the highest, topping out at a 2x multiplier for 30 minutes at Superior tier. That makes them the strongest pick for farming sessions focused on drops rather than raw experience or gold.

Blacksmith Station rules

Like potions, gear upgrading runs through a station rather than a character. The Blacksmith Station sits on Hub Island and handles both upgrades and dismantling. Upgrades require Upgrade Crystals, which come from loot chests dropped by slimes, from dismantled gear, or from the Daily Spin. They cannot be bought with Robux or Gems.

Upgrade success rates

The success system is deterministic in how it shifts with each attempt. The first upgrade on any item is guaranteed. After that, every success lowers the chance by 5%, and every failure raises it by 5%. Crystals must match the rarity of the item being upgraded. Runes can be slotted in to boost the success chance and stop it from dropping after a failed attempt.

⚠️
Do not burn Upgrade Crystals on low-rarity gear you plan to replace. They have no paid source, so every wasted Crystal extends your grind.

Dismantling gear

When replacing a weapon or armor piece, you have two choices. Selling it to the Merchant NPC returns gold. Feeding it into the Blacksmith Station returns exactly one Upgrade Crystal of the same rarity as the base item, regardless of how many upgrades were stacked on it.

Dismantling is not instant. It processes over time and continues while you are offline, so you do not need to sit in-game. Queued items appear in the dismantling menu, where you can cancel them for free as long as the process has not finished. Once it completes, the item is gone, and only the Crystal remains.

Pirate NPC and open-sea PvP

The Pirate NPC stands near the docks on most islands and has one job: spawning the boat you use to travel between zones. Only the person who spawned a boat can pilot it, so you cannot hijack someone else's vessel.

PvP turns on the moment you leave shore. The open sea is a flagged risk zone, and early-game players are especially vulnerable while sailing between islands. Plan routes accordingly, especially with loot worth protecting.

Adventurer Dave and Waypoints

Adventurer Dave is positioned next to the Lord Rima Boss Room. His questline introduces the Waypoint system, which replaces repetitive sailing with instant teleports. Once a Waypoint is activated on an island, it becomes selectable from the Teleport menu.

Activating Waypoints as early as possible is the single biggest time saver during grinding loops. The cost of running Dave's quest pays off within the first few repeat trips.

Ash, the Pet Master

Ash sits on the Ice Bridge above the Lord Rima boss area, but he is locked behind that fight. You must defeat Rima at least once before Ash becomes interactable. His questline revolves around hatching a Drake egg, and finishing it awards the Drake as a permanent pet.

If a pet is a priority for you, line up Rima as a milestone target and speak to Ash immediately after. The Drake currently functions as a mount, which cuts island traversal time noticeably compared to running on foot.

How you know an interaction worked

Quest givers update your quest log the moment dialogue completes, which is the simplest confirmation for NPCs like Chief Brak III, Brigurd, Adventurer Dave, and Ash. For the Potion and Blacksmith Stations, the crafted item or Upgrade Crystal appears in the station's output queue or your inventory once processing finishes. If a station shows no progress bar and no inventory change, the recipe or upgrade did not trigger, usually because a required material or matching-rarity Crystal was missing.

Slime Seas is a live-service Roblox game on an active update cadence, so expect new NPCs and stations to appear in later zones. The structure above covers the confirmed roster across Slime Forest, Hub Island, Starter Island, and the Rima boss area.
