Star Wars Zero Company: How to Equip and Get More Force Meditations

Force Meditations are passive perks that only one member of Zero Company can use. They belong to Tel-Rea Vokoss, the Jedi who joins the roster after the Jedi Undercover/Smugglers’ Den main mission, and they sit in the same part of the interface as grenades and other utility gear rather than in her skill tree. She starts with a single slot, which is why most players end up with spare Meditations sitting unused in the inventory.

Quick answer: Open the Armory, select Tel-Rea Vokoss, switch to the Utilities tab, and drop a Meditation into an open slot. To get more slots, open the Personnel menu, go to her Focus Tree, and buy Padawan Training IV for a second slot and Padawan Training V for a third.

What each Force Meditation does

Meditations are always-on effects that tick during combat, so there is no button to press and no action point cost. They stack with Tel-Rea’s unique talent, Strong With the Force, which starts every turn with Harmony and improves her lightsaber attacks and deflection.

MeditationEffect
Fast HealingRegenerates 8 Health at the start of each turn
Visions of the Future+10% Deflection Chance
Visions of the Past+1 extra stack of Harmony each turn

Visions of the Past compounds with her Harmony generation, while Visions of the Future pushes her deflection higher for front-line work. Fast Healing is the low-maintenance pick if you would rather keep your Medic focused on the rest of the squad.

How to equip a Force Meditation in the Armory

Head to the Armory inside your base between missions. It is the same terminal you use for weapons, mods, and utility items, so you can do this while gearing up the rest of the squad.

Open the Armory menu and pick Tel-Rea Vokoss from the character list. The loadout screen opens on her weapon by default, showing options to equip mods, change the weapon, or adjust its appearance.

Switch to the Utilities tab. Tel-Rea’s Meditation slots appear here alongside her other utility gear, which is why the perks are easy to miss if you only ever browse her Focus Tree.
Choose a Meditation from the inventory list and place it into an open slot. The slot fills with the Meditation’s name and its effect text, and that is your confirmation it is live for the next deployment.

How to unlock more Meditation slots in the Focus Tree

Extra slots are not rewards, purchases, or drops. They are Focus Tree nodes, and the game tells you as much on the greyed-out slot itself, which reads “Additional Meditation Slots can be unlocked through Tel-Rea’s Focus Tree.”

Leave the Armory and open the Personnel menu. This is where you spend Focus Points rather than swap gear.
Select Tel-Rea Vokoss and move to the Focus Tree tab. Her progression runs through the Padawan line first, before the Wayseeker specialization opens up later in the campaign.
Work down the Padawan Training nodes. Padawan Training IV allows Tel-Rea to equip a second Meditation, and Padawan Training V allows a third. The same line also improves her critical hit chance, so nothing invested here is wasted.
Return to the Armory’s Utilities tab and fill the newly opened slot. The previously locked entry becomes selectable immediately, with no mission or rest cycle needed in between.

Note: these nodes compete with Strong with the Force III, IV, and V and with the Force Push line, so budget Focus Points before committing. Some Critical Operation choices hand every Operator extra Focus Points, which makes clearing the full Padawan Training chain considerably faster.

Why a Meditation slot is still locked

There are only a few reasons a Meditation will not go where you want it.

  • The slot reads “LOCKED MEDITATION SLOT” — you have not bought Padawan Training IV or V yet.
  • You are looking at another operator’s loadout. Meditations only appear on Tel-Rea Vokoss and cannot be shared with the rest of Zero Company.
  • You are on the wrong tab. Meditations live under Utilities, not with weapons or mods.
  • You do not have Tel-Rea yet. She first appears during Cycle 7: Dark Waters and formally joins once the Jedi Undercover/Smugglers’ Den mission is complete.

Because all three Meditations pull in different directions, the third slot is where Tel-Rea’s build settles. Running Visions of the Past next to Visions of the Future turns her into a durable deflection platform, and Fast Healing on top of that keeps her topped up without spending anyone’s turn on healing her.
