Vale Sangora is packed with points of interest, and clearing them gives you XP, skill points, and strong gear on top of several trophies. The whole map is only about 10 km² and is traversed entirely on foot, so knowing where everything sits and how to reveal it quickly saves hours of aimless wandering.
Quick answer: Climb all 11 Towers at night while you have the Shadowstep vampire skill (it lets you scale walls). Each tower marks nearby activities as white “?” icons. Then walk within 100 meters of every “?” to unfog what it is. Revealing the full map, including shrines, takes roughly 3–4 hours.

Collectibles required for trophies
Only four categories are needed for the trophy and achievement list. Note that you do not have to destroy every Vrakhiri Transport, only 8 of the 10 that exist.
| Collectible | Requirement | Trophy |
|---|---|---|
| 11 Towers | Climb all 11 | Bird’s-Eye View |
| 5 Brencis’s Banners (Flags) | Find all 5 | Capture the Flag |
| 8 Villages (Settlements) | Visit all 8 | Tour Guide Training |
| Vrakhiri Transports | Destroy 8 of 10 | Delivery Delay |

Add to Google Preferences →Reveal the map: climb the Towers first
The Towers are the master switch for exploration. When you synchronize one, it plants white “?” markers for the surrounding region on your map. Because you have to climb the walls to reach the top, you need the Shadowstep vampire skill unlocked, and that only works at night when Coen is in his vampiric form.

Repeat this tower-then-shrines-then-markers loop in every region until all 11 Towers are done and the fog is gone.
All open-world points of interest
Everything below is marked by “?” icons once you climb the Towers. Beyond the trophy items, these hand out XP, skill points, and strong equipment, so they are worth clearing during a completion run.
| Point of interest | Total count |
|---|---|
| Towers | 11 |
| Brencis’s Banners (Flags) | 5 |
| Villages (Settlements) | 8 |
| Vrakhiri Transports | 10 |
| Shrines (Fast Travel Points) | 111 |
| Ancient Circles | 13 |
| Bandit Camps | 15 |
| Curious Houses | 6 |
| Haunted Sites | 4 |
| Monster Lairs | 32 |
| Persons in Danger | 14 |
| Soldier Camps | 13 |
| Will-o-the-Wisps | 6 |

Collectibles that never appear on the map
Two collectible types are not marked by “?” icons at all, so towers will not help you find them. You have to locate them by exploring or by buying them from the right merchants.
- Manuals (Skill Books) — teach skills, perks, and abilities. They are also sold by Witchcraft Vendors, Swordmastery Teachers, and Armourers.
- Legendary Equipment — the strongest gear pieces hidden throughout the world.
Vendor locations
Merchants let you buy and sell goods, upgrade gear, and pick up Manuals. Weapons are upgraded at Blacksmiths and armor at Armourers, while the remaining stores sell general goods such as healing items and crafting ingredients. Some vendors only operate at specific times, marked by a sun icon for day or a half-moon icon for night.
| Vendor | Count | Main use |
|---|---|---|
| Armourers | 4 | Upgrade armor, sell Manuals |
| Blacksmiths | 4 | Upgrade weapons |
| General Stores | 9 | Healing items, ingredients |
| Medics | 4 | General goods |
| Silver Trader | 1 | Trading |
| Taverns (Innkeepers) | 4 | General goods |
| Witchcraft Vendors | 4 | Sell Manuals |
| Swordmastery Teachers | 4 | Sell Manuals |

Travel faster and confirm your progress
There are no mounts, so movement skills matter. At night, the Vampirism skill Shapeshift turns Coen into a wolf to cover ground quickly. During the day, the Witchcraft skill Mercurial Fervour gives a similar speed boost without changing form. Discovered Shrines then handle the longer hops across regions.
A marker is cleared the moment you pass within 100 meters of it and the “?” resolves into its real icon. For the trophies, watch for the pop-ups as you finish the last tower, banner, village, or eighth destroyed transport. If a tower will not let you climb it, you are almost certainly trying during the day or without Shadowstep, since scaling the walls needs the night-only vampire skill.
One thing to keep in mind is that clearing the fog is not the same as full completion. Unmarked collectibles, quests, and secrets still need to be found through exploration, so treat the tower sweep as your foundation rather than the finish line.
