Denarii is the currency that keeps Coen moving through Vale Sangora. Weapons, armor, and healing items all cost money, so a full purse matters as much as any skill point. The good news is that income never dries up, because looting corpses and chests is endless and every stage of the game hands you something worth selling.
Quick answer: Sell weaker gear and use the “Sell all Junk” option at any merchant, offload Trade Goods you pick up while exploring, and once you reach Svartrau City sell Silver items (marked with a White Chalice tag) to the Silver Trader.
Early game: sell surplus loot, junk, and Trade Goods
In the opening hours your options are limited by low power, the 30-day clock, and an open world you are still learning. Looting is the one thing you can do without restriction. Gear runs through rarity tiers from green up to purple, and any piece weaker than what you already carry can be sold to a merchant for a flat return.
Tip: Trade Goods are found while exploring, not handed out by quests. Sweeping side areas and containers is the fastest way to keep them flowing.
Midgame: sell Silver items to the Silver Trader in Svartrau City
Once you are a fair way into the campaign, junk and surplus gear still bring in money, but a new source opens up. Silver Items start dropping, and you can spot them by the White Chalice tag on the item. These are meant to be sold rather than used.
The buyer for them is a merchant called the Silver Trader in Svartrau City. Reaching that vendor is tied to progression rather than free roaming. Work through the “Into the Den” quest and complete it, which unlocks travel to Svartrau so you can trade with the Silver Trader directly.
Endgame: sell purple gear from high-level camps
By the endgame the clock is tighter as the 30th day approaches, and most of your own equipment is Legendary. Tougher enemies you fight along the way tend to drop purple-tier gear, which now sits below your kit and becomes pure sale value.
High-level soldier and bandit camps are the best targets at this stage. They also yield larger stacks of Silver items, so clearing them combines combat progress with a solid payout every time.
