Every requirement, the exact quest trigger, the optional mansion minigames, and the full reward list for this Snezhnaya world quest.

Through the Gates of Ivory opens the Hesperides of Love and Hate world quest chain in Snezhnaya. It begins with a strange wedding invitation, takes you up Fellfrost Peak behind a guide named Ikhor, and ends inside the House of Hesperides at a ceremony that is clearly not what it seems.

Quick answer: Pick up the Invitation to the “Ritual” near Svetloledovka, then approach the Statue of the Seven at Fellfrost Peak to start the quest. Follow Ikhor up the mountain, submit the invitation at the statue by the mansion doors, then head to the chapel and take a seat to finish.

Requirements to unlock the quest

Two things gate this quest. You need to be at least Adventure Rank 18, and you need to have progressed Chapter VII: Act 1 far enough to roam Snezhnaya freely. That free-roam point unlocks once the Traveler and Paimon reach Snezhnograd and settle in, which removes the barriers around the region.

Once you can move around, call the train at the Central Station using the Eye of Graeae and travel to Svetloledovka, the nearest town for grabbing the invitation.

Get the Invitation to the “Ritual”

The wedding invitation comes from Pavlina, the Grand Duchess of the Snegurochka. You can pick it up in two places, so use whichever is easier when you arrive.

Warp to the Svetloledovka waypoint and drop down toward the mining area. Look for a glowing interaction point on the wooden platforms and grab the Invitation to the “Ritual.” If you miss it, an NPC named Mesherskaya near the notice board southwest of the waypoint can also hand it over.

Interact with the glowing item near the Svetloledovka mining area to grab the invitation.
If you walk past both options, head straight to Fellfrost Peak instead. Paimon will spot the invitation in the nearby area and pick it up automatically.

Trigger the quest and climb Fellfrost Peak

With the invitation in your inventory, travel to the Statue of the Seven at Fellfrost Peak, south of Svetloledovka. Approaching it starts Through the Gates of Ivory and points you toward the House of Hesperides, higher up the mountain to the southeast.

Tip: If you have already finished the For an Ice Mirror Fragment world quest in the cave south of the Statue of the Seven, use the zipline construct there to reach a higher point much faster.

Follow the trail upward until you find a lit lamp resting in the snow. A cutscene plays, and a mysterious young man named Ikhor appears. The Eye of Graeae reacts strongly to him, hinting that part of its missing power is somehow tied to Ikhor.

Follow Ikhor and clear the enemies

Move slowly and keep pace with Ikhor as he leads you toward the mansion. Partway up the mountain you run into enemies such as Chimeric Armored Beasts and Chimeric Burrowbeasts. Defeat them all to continue, and open the Exquisite Chest that appears afterward before crossing the bridge to the estate.

Submit the invitation at the mansion

At the front doors of the House of Hesperides, a statue on the right side of the entrance asks you to present your invitation. Interact with it and confirm to submit the Invitation to the “Ritual.” The doors open, and Aglaya welcomes you inside as a guest.

Aglaya explains the traditions of the ceremony and warns you away from the private rooms guests are not allowed to enter. She also notes that the ritual begins when the clock strikes eight, so you should make your way to the chapel once you hear the chimes.

Main hall entertainment (optional)

Inside the main hall you can take part in several optional minigames run by the Jack Frost creatures for extra chests. None of these are required to finish the quest, but they are worth doing if you want the loot.

ActivityWhat to doReward
Count Jack Frosts with hatsTalk to Vershina near the right door and answer Three for the Jack Frosts wearing a bandana or chef’s hat in the kitchen.Common Chest
Rolling barrelsThrough the double doors on the left, hit 8 regular barrels and 6 explosive barrels into the racking area before time runs out.Timed challenge reward
Swapping hatsStop the switching Jack Frost when its pilgrim hat matches the other two beside the entrance.Common Chest

If you would rather skip everything, sit on the sofa on the right side of the main hall at the start and choose the first dialogue option. The Traveler and Paimon doze off and wake up after eight faint chimes, moving the quest straight ahead.

Go to the chapel to finish

After resting or playing the minigames, head up to the chapel. Take a left after the first flight of stairs, then a right after the second, and follow the path upward. Take a seat on a bench to trigger the closing cutscene.

Paimon points out that Ikhor has gone missing just before the wedding scene.

You know the quest is done when the wedding cutscene plays out, the rewards land in your inventory, and a new quest, Procrustes’ Iron Bed, appears with an instruction to talk to Paimon.

Rewards

RewardAmount
Primogem40
Mora33,000
Mystic Enhancement Ore3
Hero’s Wit2

The optional minigame chests are on top of these totals, so clearing the entertainment activities before you head to the chapel is the only way to grab that extra loot.

Finishing here rolls you straight into the rest of Hesperides of Love and Hate. Procrustes’ Iron Bed only opens after you complete both The Sun’s Gilded Apple and House of the Soulless, and the chain wraps up with the finale, Bell Ringing at Dusk, and a boss fight against Pavlina herself.
