Vampire Life drops you into a dark town-and-castle map as a Human Lv 0 armed with a wooden stake. From there, you can grind money as a human, get infected to join the vampires, or hunt down a spellbook to become a witch. Each path has its own trigger and its own way to level up, and none of them require a long grind before you start.
Quick answer: Complete villager quests for cash, get bitten and infected by a vampire to spawn in the Vampire Castle, or find a randomly spawned Grimoire in the woods and select Make Pact to turn into a witch.

Earn money fast with villager quests
Money is the main currency for buying survival gear, blood bags, stakes, and stat boosts. The fastest early income comes from Villager NPCs scattered across the cities and countryside. Talk to one, accept the job, and turn it in for a cash reward.
Early in the game, two routine quests become available: gather 5 white flowers from across the cities and castle to earn $500 to $1500, or collect 5 plague bodies, place them in the cart at First City, and burn them in Second City.
Open the upper-left sidebar and switch AUTO QUEST ON so the game routes you through jobs automatically while you learn the map.

A human becomes a vampire by being bitten and infected by an existing vampire. You cannot turn yourself. Find a vampire player or a high-level vampire NPC and ask to be bitten.

Vampire abilities and how they work
Vampires level up by biting and eliminating humans and villagers. Each ability is mapped to a key, and most target another player or an NPC directly.
| Ability | Key | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Snap Neck | Q | Quick takedown against humans |
| Bite | E | Drains blood to refill thirst |
| Rip Heart | R | Takes the Heart item to eat for fast thirst |
| Feed Blood | G | Heals a target or preps them to turn |
| Decapitate | Y | Removes the target’s head |
| Compulsion | C | Command menu (follow, walk away, more) |
| Super Hearing | H | Highlights hearts on all players and NPCs |
| Carry | X | Pick up and move an NPC |
| Vampire Face | V | Toggles fangs and darkened veins |
| Bat Transform | B | Fly across the map |

Vampires burn and die in sunlight during the day unless they carry a daylight ring, and they also take burn damage inside holy places such as the church. Move at night, or stay under cover, until you own a ring.
Vampire Castle shop
A shopkeeper inside the castle sells vampire gear for the cash you earn from quests and hunts.
| Item | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Vampire Blood | $500 |
| Vampire Hat | $500 |
| Vampire Cape | Level 50 |
Turn a human into a vampire
Once you are a vampire, you can turn a human yourself by combining two abilities with a blood bag. For the game’s transformation to work, vampire blood must be in the human’s body when they die; afterward, they must drink from a blood bag.

How to become a witch
The witch route skips infection entirely. Instead of being bitten, you find a Grimoire that spawns at random spots in the woods. No pre-grinding is needed, so a brand new human can turn into a witch straight away.

To level up quickly, engage high-level Hunters and wear them down with the fire spell Incendia while circling with fist attacks. A single Hunter kill can jump a fresh witch several levels at once. You can also take villager jobs for EXP and gather blue vervain flowers to use at witch crafting stations.
Witch spells and magic costs
Spells are cast from the Spell Book, and each one drains your Magic meter. Pain Infliction (Q) and Telekinesis (E) work outside the book and are handy for training magic, while stronger spells unlock as you rank up.

| Spell | Magic | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Invisique | 10 | Makes you invisible |
| Phasmatos Lacua | 10 | Teleports you to your cursor |
| Motus | 15 | Pushes the target away |
| Rocky Drop | 15 | Drops a boulder on the target |
| Ossox | 20 | Snaps the target’s neck |
| Incendia | 30 | Sets the target on fire |
| Ad Somnum | 30 | Puts the target to sleep |
| Delfan Eaten Cor | 100 | Rips the target’s heart out |
Higher-tier options include Freezy Breezy, which encases a target in ice, and the Barrier Spell, which spawns a blazing ring of fire to trap enemies. Motus has effectively unlimited range, so you can push targets across long distances from above.
Active Vampire Life codes and how to redeem them
Codes drop free Money, XP boosts, and Reset Points that speed up leveling. Redeem them early so a boosted XP window lines up with a long hunt.
| Code | Reward |
|---|---|
| SORRYILOVELALL | 4X XP for 30 minutes |
| RESETPOINTUNK | Resets Points |
| SORRY2KL | 3X XP for 30 minutes and 20K Money |
| THANKS700L | Double XP, Double Money for 15 minutes, and 10K Money |
| ThankYou300 | Double XP for 30 minutes |
Codes are case-sensitive, and developers can switch them off after a patch, so claim the ones you want while they are live. Between quest cash, a bite from the right vampire, and a well-timed Grimoire in the woods, you can settle on a vampire or witch build within your first session and start leveling from there.
