Wardogs: How to Get Attachments for Weapons

The Equipment Vendor’s ATTC. tab is where optics, grips, muzzles, and magazines get bought and bolted on.

Weapons in Wardogs do not arrive kitted out. A rifle bought from the Equipment Vendor comes with iron sights and a base magazine, and every optic, foregrip, suppressor, and drum mag on top of that is a separate purchase made against that specific gun. There is no shared attachment locker and no standalone attachment tab in the shop.

Quick answer: Talk to the Equipment Vendor, select the weapon in your loadout, open the ATTC. tab, and buy the parts you want. They equip automatically when you close the menu.

Buy attachments at the Equipment Vendor

Find the Equipment Vendor NPC in a safe zone such as No Man’s Land and interact with them. This opens the shop menu, which is split into EQUIPMENT, GEAR, ITEMS, and LOOSE AMMO categories.

Under EQUIPMENT, click the weapon you want to modify. Each of the three weapon slots — PRIMARY, SIDEARM, and SPECIALIST — holds its own configuration, so selecting a gun is what tells the game which parts to show you.

With the weapon selected, two new tabs appear: ATTC. and AMMO. Click ATTC. to open a strip of four attachment slots sitting above a filtered grid of compatible parts.
Pick a slot and browse the grid. Hovering a part previews its effect before you spend anything, including how it moves the loadout’s total WEIGHT readout. Buy each attachment you want individually.
Close the vendor menu. Purchased attachments fit themselves to the weapon without any extra confirmation step.

The optic grid filters on ALL, SHORT, and MEDIUM. Short-marked sights are all 1.2x with fixed zeroing; medium-marked ones are 1.5x or higher and carry a numeric zeroing range.

How to confirm an attachment is fitted

The clearest confirmation is the weapon itself. Leave the vendor, draw the gun, and aim down sights — a purchased optic replaces the iron sights immediately, and a suppressor or foregrip is visible on the model. Inside the menu, the four-slot strip above the item grid fills in with the parts you own, and the loadout WEIGHT figure settles on the number you saw previewed while hovering.

Aiming down sights is the fastest check of all, since a fitted optic changes the sight picture the moment you press the aim button.

Unlock requirements: class level plus a one-time fee

Money alone does not open the grid. Many attachments sit behind a class progression level, and reaching that level only gives you the right to pay a separate one-time unlock fee. Once that fee is paid, the part is permanently available and you pay only its list price whenever you buy it.

Assault is the track that carries general weapon attachments — close and mid-range sights, grips, and muzzle devices. Recon handles long-range scopes, and Medic covers the SMG-specific parts. Classes are progression tracks only, so nothing stops you mixing a Recon scope onto a weapon you leveled through Assault.

Frontier 2.5x-10x Precision Scope$1,800Recon 43$95,000
Super-45 40 RND Drum Magazine$280Medic 50$50,000

The unlock fees dwarf the list prices, which is the point of the system. A suppressor that costs $1,450 to buy in a match can cost $45,000 to make available in the first place, so the grind and the in-match economy are two separate budgets.

What each attachment slot changes

Every part card lists either a Pros block or a Cons block, never both, and the effects are described in words rather than percentages. The magnitudes run Minor, Moderate, and Strong.

Optics

Sights are the one upgrade that changes how the gun handles at every range. Short-range reflexes are 1.2x with fixed zeroing and several of them actually improve ADS speed. Magnified glass adds a zeroing range you can adjust, and usually a penalty to how fast you get on target.

Vektor Frenix-X Micro Reflex Sight1.2xFixed0.03kg
Tricon 1.5x Compact Prism Scope1.5x100m-200m0.2kg
4x Combat Prism Scope with Reflex4x100m-400m0.42kg
Frontier 2.5x-10x Precision Scope2.5-10x100m-1000m0.66kg

Vektor Frenix-X Micro Reflex Sight is the lightest sight available and is marked simply as an optic for close range. It costs $820 and unlocks through the Medic track.

Tricon 1.5x Compact Prism Scope is the cheapest step into magnified glass and the earliest optic unlock on the Assault track. It is built for close and mid-range fighting and only costs you a minor ADS speed penalty.

4x Combat Prism Scope with Reflex pairs 4x magnification with a 1.2x reflex on top that you can toggle, which makes it the one mid-to-long-range sight that still answers a target at ten meters. The tradeoff is a moderate ADS speed penalty.

Frontier 2.5x-10x Precision Scope is the long-range option, with variable magnification and a zeroing range that reaches out to a kilometer. It carries a strong ADS speed penalty and the heaviest unlock fee here, so it belongs on a rifle you intend to shoot from cover.

Foregrips

Grips trade aim speed for stability, and the two that matter most split the job differently.

Rubberized Ergonomic Foregrip leads on strong ADS stabilization and strong vertical sway reduction, with moderate vertical recoil and spread reduction behind it. At 0.11kg it costs almost nothing in weight, and the penalties are only minor hits to ADS and equip speed.

CQR Tactical Front Rail Grip pushes harder on recoil, with strong vertical recoil and sway reduction plus moderate ADS stabilization. It asks for more in return, taking a moderate ADS speed penalty and a minor horizontal sway penalty.

Muzzles and suppressors

Suppressors cut your sound profile and heavily reduce muzzle flash, then throw in small handling gains on top. They are the most expensive slot to fill on a per-item basis.

Flow-Through .308 Suppressor weighs 0.34kg and bundles moderate spread reduction with minor vertical and horizontal recoil reduction, for only a minor ADS speed penalty. It unlocks on the Recon track.

PP-19-01 Vityaz 9×19 Suppressor is the SMG equivalent at 0.5kg, listing minor vertical recoil, horizontal recoil, and spread reductions alongside the sound and flash benefits. Its penalty is a moderate hit to ADS speed.

Magazines

Magazines are bought against one weapon and come as a ladder of capacities, with each rung costing more money and more weight. The MP5 offers 20, 30, and 50 rounds. The Super-45 runs 13, 30, and 40. Drums sit at the top of every ladder and are where the weight penalty bites hardest.

PP-19 50 RND Vityaz Drum Magazine costs $200 and weighs 1.3kg, roughly six times the 10-round magazine for the same gun.

Weight is the real cost of a build

The WEIGHT readout in the loadout screen updates live as you hover each part, showing the hovered attachment measured against everything else you are carrying. That makes it the number worth watching, because magnification and weight are not correlated. The Vektor Frenix-X weighs 0.03kg at 1.2x, while the OKP 7 Reflex is also a 1.2x sight and outweighs nearly every magnified scope in the game.

Not every weapon takes every slot. Some rifles, including the Bushmaster M17S, A-91, and KH-2002, only accept a magazine, so the ATTC. grid will be nearly empty for them.

Because cash carries between matches and you rebuy your loadout after every death, an attachment is an economic decision as much as a combat one. The sensible path is to unlock the cheap Assault-track grip and prism scope early, then spend the big one-time fees only on the parts that match how you actually fight.
