Every other battleground in WARDOGS asks you to chase a Control Zone around a huge stretch of countryside. Bakurani Outskirts – Jutari does not. It is the one map in the shipped build running Sniper Showdown, and it throws out the rotation entirely in favour of a single circle that never moves.
Quick answer: Bakurani Outskirts – Jutari is the game’s Sniper Showdown map. It has one fixed play area with a radius of 350 m and a 75 m objective inside it, and nothing rotates.
What Sniper Showdown is, and how it differs from King of the Hill
Sniper Showdown is the odd one out in the mode list. The rest of the maps run King of the Hill, where the objective shifts between several defined play areas and a chunk of the match is spent working out where the fight is going to be next and how you are getting there. Here there is exactly one play area, it is always the one in use, and the fight is over ground you can see from the moment you arrive.
That single area is also much tighter than what you are used to. The play area has a radius of 350 m, and the objective sitting inside it has a radius of 75 m. Nothing is held back from the rotation because there is nothing to hold back — one area is defined on the map, and that area is the one that gets picked, every time.

There are no named regions of ground on this map, so there are no callout labels to lean on. Directions and distances are how you talk about positions here.

Add to Google Preferences →Same world as Bakurani, ground the rotation never touches
The map sits in Kavkazi, the same world as the standard Bakurani battleground, and it is the same 16.32 km across. What changes is which part of it you are fighting over. The circle here is planted in the middle of the map’s central ground — territory the regular Control Zone rotation on Bakurani never lands on, so the sightlines, the cover and the approaches are all new even if the landscape looks familiar.

For scale, the faction deployment boards on the standard Bakurani map all sit outside every play area, between 2,713 m and 4,045 m from the nearest one. That gap is the reason a vehicle purchase is a real decision on the big maps. On a fixed 350 m circle, the calculation changes: you know exactly where you are going before you spend anything.
Vendors, garages and safe zones on the map
All three factions — Lonestar, Manticore and Valkyra — get the full set of services, so nobody is short of a place to buy, repair or respawn.
| Facility | Count | Factions |
|---|---|---|
| Vehicle vendor | 4 | Lonestar, Manticore, Valkyra |
| Equipment vendor | 4 | Lonestar, Manticore, Valkyra |
| Garage | 4 | Lonestar, Manticore, Valkyra |
| Deployment board | 4 | Lonestar, Manticore, Valkyra |
| Safe zone | 4 | Lonestar, Manticore, Valkyra |
| Fuel | 3 | — |
Cash you leave a match with is what you spend in the next one, so the equipment vendor is where the mode’s economics actually bite. Short on funds? Take a free weapon out and earn the upgrade.
What to buy: spotting optics for a 350 m circle
Optics live in the Recon track, and on a map this size the cheap end of that list does most of the work. Everything below is bought fresh at the vendor each match once you have paid its one-time unlock fee on the progression screen.
| Item | Price | Weight | Unlock |
|---|---|---|---|
| Binoculars | $75 | 0.3 kg | Available from the start |
| Range Finder | $400 | 0.23 kg | Recon 8 · $15,000 fee |
| Infrared Range Finder | $1,200 | 0.43 kg | Recon 32 · $50,000 fee |
Binoculars are the floor and they are genuinely fine to start on. They spot enemy infantry and vehicles and give you low-level magnification, which is enough to put people on your team’s map when the whole fight is happening inside a 350 m bubble.
The Range Finder is the real purchase. It spots infantry and vehicles like the binoculars do, but adds high-level variable magnification and an accurate distance indicator — and it is lighter than the binoculars while doing it. If you intend to shoot as well as spot, this is the one that tells you the number you need before you take the shot.

The Infrared Range Finder is the late unlock and it is priced accordingly. It keeps the variable magnification and the distance readout and adds infrared on top, which is the part that earns the $1,200. It is also the heaviest of the three, so it costs you a little backpack room.
The Compound Bow: a silent option for close ground
The Compound Bow is the curiosity buy, and a fixed circle is the best argument for it. It costs $800 at the vendor, fires Standard Arrows on a Pull & Release action, and weighs almost nothing. It is not a budget pick to get into, though: unlocking it takes Recon level 17 and a one-time fee of $125,000.
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Damage per shot | 77.0 |
| Damage through body armour | 30.8 |
| Rounds per minute | 90 |
| Muzzle velocity | 650 m/s |
| Weight | 1.3 kg |
Read those two damage figures together before you commit. An unarmoured hit lands hard; the same arrow into body armour does well under half that. Against a target who has spent money on protection, you are planning for follow-ups rather than one clean shot.

How to confirm you are on the right map
Pull up the tactical map as soon as you spawn. On a Sniper Showdown match you will see a single circle and a single objective ring inside it, with no other candidate areas marked anywhere on the 16.32 km world. If you can see more than one possible zone, you are on a King of the Hill map and the objective is going to move.
The mini map is the other check worth making a habit. It tells you whether you are inside the zone, inside the inner area, or out in no man’s land — which matters more here than anywhere else, because with no place names to call out, your position relative to those borders is the only shared reference you and your squad have.
Everything else about the game carries over unchanged. Cash persists between matches, XP still lands on the role you earned it with, and the Recon unlocks you buy here follow you onto every other map. The difference is that on Bakurani Outskirts – Jutari, you already know where the fight is — so the only question left is what you are carrying into it.
