Vicious Circles drops you into a spaceship built from rotating rings and a giant spinning cog, and every collectible sits just off the main path. The level holds six rewards in total, split between hidden alcoves, shootable switches, and a room that only lines up with the walkways when the inner ring turns to the right angle.
Quick answer: Vicious Circles contains 5 Secrets and 1 Purity Seal. Grab them in play order as you clear the consoles and the outer ring, then wait at the inner ring gap for the hidden room to reach the Seal.
All Vicious Circles collectibles and rewards
Here is the full set with the reward each one drops and where it sits, so you can check your counter against it.
| Collectible | Reward | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Secret 1/5 | Feel No Pain | Barred door below the starting platform |
| Secret 2/5 | Machine Spirit upgrade | Wall cache after the purple console |
| Secret 3/5 | Grenade Boost | Vent grate in the corridor past the purple console |
| Secret 4/5 | Emperor’s Visage power-up | Chamber behind the inner ring blue switches |
| Secret 5/5 | Munitions Boon: Lock and Load! | Steel ledges below the outer ring |
| Purity Seal 1/1 | Purity Seal | Hidden room aligned with the inner ring gap |
Each pickup triggers a SECRET DISCOVERED prompt and ticks your Secrets counter up by one, while the Seal shows YOU DISCOVERED A PURITY SEAL!. Reaching 5/5 Secrets and 1/1 Seal gives the level a full completion rating.

From the central circular platform where the consoles sit, drop off the edge to the ground level underneath. Look along the lower wall for a panel fitted with bars and press the activate button to open it. Step into the blood-soaked alcove behind it to trigger the secret and pick up Feel No Pain.
This door blends into the surroundings, so sweep the lower level before you get pulled into the fight around the consoles above.

Secret 2/5: Wall cache after the purple console
Play through the level until you have activated both the red [Σ] and purple [Φ] consoles. Once the purple console is live, head back to the central hub and the purple door opens.

Secret 3/5: Grenade Boost in the vent grate
Carry on down the hallway past the purple console. Watch the metal wall for a round fan vent. Shoot the grate off to expose the opening, then step in to claim the Grenade Boost and trigger the secret.

Secret 4/5: Inner ring blue switches
This one opens after you reach the outside ring and shoot a chain of blue targets. Expect a fight at the end, since the room behind it is packed with Blue Horrors.

Purity Seal 1/1: The aligned hidden room
Patience is required for the level’s sole Purity Seal; no switch is involved. Head back to the outer ring with a view of the spinning inner ring, then locate an opening among the perimeter rocks. Hold position as the inner structure turns, waiting for a hidden doorway to come into alignment with that opening. The wait may be lengthy.
When the opening appears, jump across into it. Do not jump too high or too far or you will catch the ledge instead of landing inside. Fight through the enemies in the corridor and the Purity Seal waits at the end.

This is the only Purity Seal in Vicious Circles, and it counts toward the Purification Complete achievement for collecting every Purity Seal in the game.
Secret 5/5: Steel ledges below the outer ring
Keep to the rocky rim, crossing the tall pillars and metal arches. Peer over the cliff on the outer side to locate the tiered metal platforms underneath. Drop down onto the steel ledges, collect Munitions Boon: Lock and Load!, and complete the set.
Clear nearby enemies before you start edging along the cliff, since a hit while you are lining up the drop can knock you off.

With all five Secrets logged and the Purity Seal in hand, the level reads 5/5 and 1/1 on the tracker, confirming nothing is left behind before you move on through Vashtorr’s spinning halls.
