Finding the right NPC in Haze Seas can save hours of aimless sailing. The islands across Sea 1 and Sea 2 are packed with characters who sell weapons, teach Haki and Fighting Styles, store your Fruits and Races, or unlock major progression steps. Knowing exactly where each one stands lets you plan a route instead of wandering.
Quick answer: Merchants and starter services cluster on Starter Island, Marine Base Town, and Logue City in Sea 1; Fighting Style and Haki trainers are spread from Clown Island to Udon Prison; and both Archivists sit at Snowy Graveyard in Sea 2.
NPC types you will meet
Each island holds a mix of characters with different jobs. The five roles worth tracking are the ones that gate your gear, powers, and storage.
| Role | What they do |
|---|---|
| Quest Givers | Hand out quests for progression, usually near mobs and island bosses. |
| Merchants | Sell Weapons, Accessories, and Devil Fruits. |
| Blacksmiths | Craft Accessories from materials. |
| Archivists | Store Bloodlines and Fruits for later use. |
| Trainers | Teach Haki, Fighting Styles, and movement skills. |
Note: Quest Givers, Navigators, and Shipwrights appear on nearly every island and are easy to spot, so the locations below focus on merchants, trainers, archivists, and the standout utility NPCs.

Tip: The Undead Prisoner and Magma Minion both stand inside walls, so expect to nudge into the geometry near their islands’ key mobs before the shop prompt appears.
Trainer NPC locations for Haki and Fighting Styles
Trainers unlock your combat toolkit, from movement skills like Flash Step and Sky Walk to Buso and Observation Haki and the full Fighting Style roster. A few trainers span multiple islands for tiered upgrades, and two Fighting Style teachers do not yet have confirmed spots.
| NPC | Location | Teaches |
|---|---|---|
| Flash Step Trainer | Sea 1: Level 1 on Clown Island, Level 2 on Three Islands, Level 3 on Bubble Island | Flash Step; Level 3 travels 800 Studs. |
| Sky Walk Trainer | Sea 1: Rocky Pillars, top of the tree-covered pillar next to Starter Island | Sky Walk; Level 3 gives 10 Sky Walks. |
| Black Leg Trainer | Sea 1: Sea Restaurant | Black Leg Fighting Style for $50,000. |

| Incur (Gear 5 Trainer) | Sea 2: Dragon Island, on the floating island | Gear 5 skills; requires Gear 2 and Gear 4. |

The Cyborg Scientist and Dragon Master do not have confirmed islands yet, so their Fighting Styles cannot be learned until their spawn points are set.
Archivist NPCs for Fruit and Bloodline storage
Both Archivists were added with the Haze Seas rerelease, and they share the same island. Head to Snowy Graveyard in Sea 2 to bank spare Devil Fruits and Races. Each storage slot has to be unlocked with Gems.
| NPC | Location | Stores |
|---|---|---|
| Fruit Archivist | Sea 2: Snowy Graveyard | Up to 5 Devil Fruits; slots unlocked with Gems. |
| Archivist of Bloodlines | Sea 2: Snowy Graveyard | Up to 5 Races; slots unlocked with Gems. |
Other key NPCs for stat resets, crafting, and sea travel
Several utility NPCs handle the parts of the game that keep your build flexible. These cover stat resets, Fruit removal, Race rerolls and V2 unlocks, crafting, spawning the Sea Beast, and the jump from Sea 1 to Sea 2.
| NPC | Location | Function |
|---|---|---|
| Spirit Medium | Sea 1: Starter Island; Sea 2: Flower Capital | Resets Stats for 100 Gems or 75 Robux. |
| Legendary Blacksmith | Sea 1: Starter Island | Crafts Sea Beast Armor and Helmet from Sea Beast Core and Ice Ore. |
| Doctor White | Sea 1: Logue City | Removes your Devil Fruit for 5 Gems or 25 Robux; sells Dual Sword for $100,000 and teaches Dual Sword V2. |
| Mystical Wizard | Sea 1: Rocky Pillars | Give him a Cola from Makino to spawn the Sea Beast. |
| Dimensional Sailor | Sea 1: Starter Island | Unlocks travel to Sea 2 in exchange for a Poneglyph Scroll. |
| Dark Blade Upgrader | Sea 2: Foggy Castle, hidden cave past the waterfall | Quest chain for Dark Blade V2; must own Dark Blade. |
| Shapeshifter Mimiko | Sea 2: Flower Capital | Sells Race Spins for Gems. |
| Race Engineer | Sea 2: Flower Capital | Unlocks Race V2 through specific quests. |

The Dimensional Sailor is the gatekeeper for Sea 2, so hold onto a Poneglyph Scroll before you plan to leave Sea 1. Once you reach Flower Capital, most of your Race management, from spins to V2 unlocks, is handled by Shapeshifter Mimiko and the Race Engineer standing nearby.
With these locations mapped out, you can sail straight to the character you need instead of scanning every island. Keep an eye on the two Fighting Style trainers still marked TBA, since their spots will fill in the gaps for Cyborg and Dragon Claw builds once they arrive.
