Where Winds Meet: How to Complete Cat Play (2/2) in Greenshade Village

Cat Play in Greenshade Village is a Sentient Beings exploration objective that asks you to find and pet two cats around the settlement in Where Winds Meet. Both live just outside the village, so a pair of short teleports clears the whole task.

Quick answer: Teleport to Crownleek Terrace and pet Kitty: Sugarplum by the shed, then teleport to Sageplow Stead and pet Kitty: Maoya beside the stone house to reach Cat Play 2/2.

Both cat locations in Greenshade Village

Greenshade Village sits in the Qingzhou·Eastern Peak region. The two Cat Play cats are tied to separate teleport landmarks, so it is quicker to handle them one at a time rather than running between them on foot.

Pet Kitty: Sugarplum (first cat)

Open the world map for Qingzhou·Eastern Peak and teleport to the Crownleek Terrace landmark northwest of Greenshade Village. This drops you closest to the first cat.

From the landmark, head south beside the low stone wall, descending toward the wooden cart and small shed beyond the village.

The calico kitten, Kitty: Sugarplum, sits in the grass next to the shed. Approach until the F Kitty: Sugarplum prompt appears, then select Pet and keep petting until the friendship gauge fills.

Pet Kitty: Maoya (second cat)

Bring up the world map once more, then teleport to the landmark at Sageplow Stead, north of Greenshade Village.

Run south along the road and cross the stone bridge into Greenshade Village, following the village pathway toward the marked house.

Face the stone houses around NPCs Li Dabai and Liu Wutong. In the grass beside the doorstep and signpost, you’ll find the black cat, Kitty: Maoya.

Walk up until the F Kitty: Maoya prompt shows, then select Pet. This is the second of the two cats and finishes the objective.

Rewards and how to confirm completion

Each cat awards exploration points when you pet it, and the second cat rolls in the remaining items. Across both you collect the following.

While petting, the message Keep going! The kitten now likes you even more! confirms the interaction is registering. Once you pet the second cat, the Cat Play entry on the Sentient Beings exploration screen for Greenshade Village flips to Completion 2/2, and the reward pop-ups for Trace Jade and Elegance appear on screen.

Clearing Cat Play also feeds into the wider Greenshade Village exploration total, which pays out Echo Jade x80 once you finish every category for the area.
