Where Winds Meet: Raven’s Testament Walkthrough (Mirkvale Part 2)

Raven’s Testament is a Wandering Tale in the Hidden Mountain expansion of Where Winds Meet, listed under the Mirkvale Part 2 series. The quest sends you to a cave near Mirkvale, where a rusted bronze sword sits stuck in the ground and no one has managed to pull it free. Completing it rewards the World to Sword mystic skill along with currency and experience.

Quick answer: Travel to the cave at Soughing Knoll in Heaven’s Threshold, read the red inscription on the stone wall, equip the Panacea Fan, and use its healing skill (Q) next to the rusted sword to free it. Loot the Ancient Bronze Sword and give it to Wu Zhi to finish the quest.

What you need before starting

The only hard requirement is the Panacea Fan. This weapon carries the healing skill that solves the puzzle, so make sure it is in your loadout before you head to the cave. Everything else is standard traversal.

Get to the cave at Soughing Knoll

Open your map and select Soughing Knoll in Heaven’s Threshold, which sits just south of Mirkvale. Fast travel to the landmark to cut down the run.

From Soughing Knoll, move through the forest and climb down the rocks to find the cave entrance. Follow the active quest marker on the left of your screen so you don’t overshoot the opening.

Talk to Wu Zhi and read the inscription

Enter the cave and approach Wu Zhi. Press F on the interaction prompt to start the conversation and pick up the context for the sword.

Walk up to the stone wall and press F to read the red text carved into it. The inscription is the clue that points to the healing method needed to release the sword.

Free the sword with the Panacea Fan

Open the Martial Arts menu and equip the Panacea Fan. This is the weapon whose healing skill is required for the puzzle, so it must be active before you interact with the sword.

Stand next to the rusted sword lodged in the ground and use the Panacea Fan’s healing skill (Q). The healing energy releases the blade so you can pull it free.

Loot the freed weapon, which enters your inventory as the Ancient Bronze Sword.

Return the sword and claim the reward

Go back to Wu Zhi and choose the Give option in the dialogue menu to hand over the Ancient Bronze Sword.

Finish the dialogue to complete Raven’s Testament. The quest unlocks the World to Sword mystic skill, which channels excess healing into flying energy blades.

How to confirm the quest is done

Open the Wandering Tales menu and check the Mirkvale Part 2 entry. Raven’s Testament will be marked as Completed once the rewards land. If the sword won’t come loose, the most common reason is having the wrong weapon equipped. Make sure the Panacea Fan is active and that you are using its healing skill directly beside the rusted sword rather than elsewhere in the cave.
