Oddities are one of the collectible types scattered across the Rear Garden, the Inner Chambers zone tied to the Kaifeng Imperial Palace content in Where Winds Meet. There are exactly eight of them in this area, and clearing all eight is part of finishing the Rear Garden at 100 percent exploration.

Quick answer: Collect all 8 Oddities in the Rear Garden by sweeping the zone from the entrance toward the back. Two of them (numbers 6 and 7) sit almost side by side near the rear ponds, and the final one shows up late during the cleanup pass near the last Meow Meow.

Unlock the Rear Garden first

The Rear Garden sits on the Inner Chambers side of the Kaifeng Imperial Palace, near the Yuchen Hall route. You reach it through the Imperial Palace content. If the area is still locked, begin the Worldly Affairs quest Throne and Tempest I, which opens access to the Palace, then return once you can move freely through the Rear Garden.

Once inside, the eight Oddities are spread from the front of the garden to the far back. The cleanest approach is a single pass that follows the same line you would take to grab chests, Meow Meows, and Bloomwork, so you do not have to backtrack.

All 8 Rear Garden Oddity locations

The table below lists each Oddity in the order you naturally reach it on a full sweep, with a nearby collectible used as a landmark so you can confirm you are in the right spot.

OddityWhere to look (nearby landmark)
1 of 8Early in the garden, right after the first chest and just before the first Bloomwork.
2 of 8Past the first Bloomwork, close to the first Winter’s Meow Meow.
3 of 8After the second Meow Meow and the second and third chests, before the Chest 4–6 cluster.
4 of 8Mid-route near the fourth Meow Meow, just before Chest 16.
5 of 8Toward the back, after the Chest 30–32 group and before the Chest 33–38 cluster.
6 of 8Near the rear of the garden, immediately after the Chest 33–38 cluster.
7 of 8Right beside number 6, just before the second Gift of Gab Debate.
8 of 8Late in the cleanup pass, after the second Winter Treasure Chest and next to the final (ninth) Meow Meow.

Note: Oddities 6 and 7 are easy to confuse because they are so close together. Grab one, then check your tracker before moving on so you do not walk past its neighbor.

How to confirm you have all 8

Each pickup updates the Oddity counter for the Rear Garden. When the counter reads 8 of 8, that collectible category is complete and it stops appearing on the Rear Garden checklist. Finishing all eight is one of the requirements for the Rear Garden’s 100 percent exploration total, alongside chests, Meow Meows, Bloomwork, and the rest of the zone’s collectibles.

If your count is stuck at seven, the missing one is almost always the final Oddity near the last Meow Meow, since it only becomes relevant during the back-of-garden cleanup. Re-check that corner before assuming a collectible is bugged.

Work through the eight in route order, and the Rear Garden’s Oddity category closes out without a second trip. Pair the sweep with the zone’s chests and Meow Meows on the same run, and you trim a large chunk off the path to full Rear Garden completion.
