The short-tempered, Huttese-speaking NPC has become the game’s breakout fan favorite within a week of launch.

Star Wars: Galactic Racer launched on October 6th, and within days one small side character pulled focus from the podracers and the returning franchise legends. Biddy Blas is an original racer built for the game, and players have latched onto his grumpy attitude and barely intelligible voice.

Quick answer: Biddy Blas is an original, Huttese-speaking racer created for Star Wars: Galactic Racer — a short, bad-tempered alien who can blow up your vehicle for fun mid-race and has become the game’s breakout fan favorite.

Who Biddy Blas is

Biddy Blas was not pulled from the existing Star Wars canon. He is a character Fuse Games made specifically for Galactic Racer. He is a stout little alien with a face that reads as faintly alligator-like, and he wears a racing helmet to match the rest of the grid.

His defining trait is his voice. Biddy speaks Huttese, and he delivers it in such an over-the-top, obnoxious tone that his lines are essentially impossible to follow without subtitles turned on. That combination of look and delivery is most of why he caught on so fast.

How Biddy Blas behaves on the track

Biddy is a bad loser and an even worse winner. He stays furious whether or not the race is going his way, which is exactly the point of the character. Fuse Games narrative director Nathaniel Daw called him “a short, angry little alien” who is always in a rage, and named Biddy his favorite of the cast during Gamescom 2026.

That temper has a gameplay effect too. Given the chance, Biddy will blow up your vehicle during a race simply for the fun of it. Getting caught by that is what players have started calling being “Biddy Blasted,” which has turned into his unofficial catchphrase.

He races alongside more familiar names from the galaxy, including Ben Quadinaros, who returns here, as well as Sebulba. Biddy is the one everyone is clipping and sharing, but he fits into a full grid of eccentric pilots that leans into the strange-alien energy Star Wars racing is known for.

Who voices Biddy Blas

The voice of Biddy Blas is Richard Summers-Calvert. His game credits also feature 007 First Light and Total War: Warhammer 3. Away from voice acting, he is known as British independent wrestler Charles Crowley.

The performance is the part fans keep singling out. The exaggerated, grating delivery is doing most of the comedic work, and it is what pushed Biddy from a background racer into the character people are quoting.

Why fans call him the new “Glup Shitto”

“Glup Shitto” is a long-running fan joke about the franchise’s habit of giving tiny, obscure aliens elaborate names that only die-hards would ever memorize. It started as a way to poke fun at those ridiculous names, and the community applies it to whichever odd background creature they have collectively adopted.

Biddy Blas has been crowned the latest holder of that title, except the reaction to him skews affectionate rather than mocking. Players have gone as far as calling him “the best Glup Shitto ever,” with the praise centered on his voice and his permanently furious personality.

Galactic Racer became one of the highest-rated Star Wars games ever in under a week, and Biddy slotting so neatly into the franchise’s tradition of beloved weirdos is part of why. He is a small piece of a bigger package, but he is the piece everyone is talking about right now.
