Quick answer: The latest WoW Forever hotfix landed November 6, 2026. It lowered the Tanning Rack requirement to 125, moved “Unending Torment” to level 15 for Horde, and gave the Voidwalker about 40 more health.

World of Warcraft: Forever launched at 23:00 UTC on November 4, 2026. Blizzard keeps an official Forever hotfix log and adds entries as fixes are deployed. So far, fixes have arrived in two batches, on November 5 and November 6. These server-side changes require no download.

November 6, 2026

This is the larger of the two rounds. It touches five classes, three dungeons, a long list of quests, and one profession requirement that was blocking Leatherworking progress.

Classes

  • General: the Quick and the Dead Legacy Talent no longer fails to work some of the time.
  • Druid: Bloom now heals the target correctly.
  • Druid: the Bear Form tooltip listed the wrong health increase. The effect itself was always correct.
  • Druid: the Ravage tooltip listed the wrong damage value. Actual damage is unchanged.
  • Druid: the Swiftmend tooltip no longer says it consumes the effect.
  • Mage: Mages who picked up the Research spell found it missing after relogging; it was not meant to be available. The only spell Mages should learn is Study, and only after completing the relevant quest.
  • Mage: Arcane Blast now lasts its full 18 seconds.
  • Rogue: The Shank tooltips now display both Rank 1 and Rank 2.
  • Rogue: With Boot Knife selected as a talent, Shank’s tooltip now reports the right number of Combo Points granted.
  • Warlock: Voidwalkers now have roughly 40 more base health at every level.
  • Warlock: Wrack no longer gains extra damage from itself through the Soul Siphon talent.
  • Warrior: Gore Drinker activation is now noted in the Reckless Swings tooltip.

Races

  • Night Elf: Shadowmelded Druids can no longer use Ravage or Pounce.
  • Orc: The Command racial no longer provides excessive benefits to certain Warlock pet abilities.

Cooldown Manager

The Cooldown Manager now always shows the correct duration for crowd control spells. That includes cases where diminishing returns or mechanic reductions apply, such as the orc stun reduction.

Dungeons

  • Maraudon: Once Princess Theradras is dead, Zaetar’s Spirit will spawn.
  • Blackmaw Hold and The Drowned City: some creatures no longer drop combat by mistake.
  • The Drowned City: the instance portal now teleports players inside correctly.

Enemies and NPCs

  • Dun Morogh: Troggs at Grol’bolar Quarry now take longer to respawn.
  • Durotar: Loot can now be obtained from Ridgeshade Lurkers.
  • Riverglades: The loot Krek the Noxious yields is now correct.
  • Swamp of Sorrows: Players can now count on Pelluk appearing.
  • Teldrassil: Nature damage now affects Lasher Sproutlings, Blooming Lashers and Wrathvine.

Items

Spells must now deal damage in some way to trigger Searing Dagger.

Professions

Leatherworking’s Tanning Rack now requires 125 skill, down from 140. The old requirement blocked Leatherworking patterns that only need 125, so leatherworkers can now craft those without grinding past them. Tanning Rack skill-ups dropped by 15 points to match.

Quests

  • “Vorsha the Lasher”: Vorsha’s attacks no longer affect every player in the zone.
  • “The Sleeper Has Awakened”: Kerlonian Evershade nods off less frequently. Players also receive the Horn of Awakening at the start, which they can use to wake him.
  • “Rough Wolf Pelts”: Unlearning Skinning now causes the quest to be cancelled automatically.
  • “Rediscovering the Light”: NPCs can once again be healed by players.
  • “Ammo for Rumbleshot”: After another player interacts, the loot is still visible when you interact next.
  • Riverglades: Party members now share quest item drops.
  • “Never Saddle on Quality”: More spawns appear, and quest items drop more often.
  • “Unending Torment”: the Abominable Head from The Baron in the Ruins of Lordaeron dungeon now offers the quest to Horde players at level 15, down from 16.
  • Damp Note: the drop rate went up.

If your Horde character is level 15 and has been waiting on “Unending Torment”, the Abominable Head now offers it.

World

  • Other players and their targets are easier to see across large distances.
  • The Thunder Bluff Barbershop is no longer darker than intended.

November 5, 2026

The first round after launch was smaller and focused on starting zones, spawn timers and a few quest snags.

Enemies and NPCs

  • Durotar: Yarrog Baneshadow’s respawn time is no longer excessively long.
  • Zephras: Lotheluum Starbreeze now offers Druid training, so Druids starting on Zephras Isle have a trainer.
  • Dustwallow Marsh: Certain murlocs now have a longer respawn time.
  • Swamp of Sorrows: Pelluk received a spawn fix.

Items

  • Apprentice tradeskill bags are now available from trade supply vendors on Zephras Isle.
  • Vendors now pay 1 copper for each Mild Spice, rather than 2 copper.

Player versus Player

Plainsrunning stacks can no longer build up while a battleground is in its preparation period. Picking up a flag clears any existing stacks.

Quests

  • “The Sisterhood of Elune”: incorrect quest text was fixed.
  • “Escorting Erland”: Deathstalker Erland now returns after a much shorter wait.
