WoW Forever: How to Get the Pouch of Violet Dust Toy (Twitch Drop)

Quick answer: Link Battle.net to Twitch, watch four hours of eligible World of Warcraft streams before 13 November 00:30 UTC, then claim the drop on Twitch.

The Pouch of Violet Dust is a free toy celebrating the launch of World of Warcraft: Forever. You earn it as a Twitch drop by watching World of Warcraft streams, and it only lasts while the launch event is running.

What the Pouch of Violet Dust does

Using the toy turns a campfire purple and adds one hour to every camp benefit, bringing their duration to 2 hours in total. The bonus isn’t limited to you. Once it’s active, any other player resting at the Camp gets the same longer duration.

Pouch of Violet Dust Twitch drop dates

Drop window	UTC	Pacific time
Start	5 November 2026, 00:30	4 November, 4:30 pm
End	13 November 2026, 00:30	12 November, 4:30 pm

The drop is live now. Your four hours have to be logged before 13 November 00:30 UTC. Any channel in the World of Warcraft category on Twitch counts, as long as drops are active while you watch.

How to get the Pouch of Violet Dust toy

Using the toy requires a World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time, plus a device that supports drops.

Supported: a web browser on PC or Mac
Supported: Twitch or YouTube for Android or iOS
Not supported: Twitch or YouTube apps for consoles, smart TVs, or other television apps

Visit account.battle.net/connections, choose Connect beside Twitch, then authenticate on Twitch to pair the accounts. If you change either account’s password or make other changes to it, link the accounts again.

During an active drop period, spend four hours in total watching eligible World of Warcraft broadcasts on Twitch. Your time adds up across channels: 30 minutes on one channel still counts when you move to another. Watching multiple channels at the same time won’t make progress faster.

Redeem the drop either on the channel you’re viewing or through Twitch’s Drops Inventory menu.

After claiming, the toy goes to the first Battle.net region you sign in to, so choose the region where you want it delivered.

Give the toy time to reach your game; delivery may take up to 24 hours from the claim. The process is finished once the Pouch of Violet Dust appears on your WoW Forever account.

After you relink, there’s a 7-day cooldown before you can link a different Twitch account.

Earning the toy on YouTube instead

You can also link Battle.net and YouTube on YouTube’s Connected Apps page. With this method, keep the official World of Warcraft channel playing for the full required period. There is no claim step; the reward goes straight to the game if the accounts were linked while you watched.

When the Pouch of Violet Dust disappears

This temporary toy functions exclusively in WoW Forever during the “WoW: Forever Launch Celebration” event, scheduled to end in early December 2026. Afterward, it disappears from collections and can no longer be obtained. It is unavailable in World of Warcraft Classic and modern World of Warcraft.

Account changes: after a password change or edits to your Twitch or Battle.net account, link the accounts again.
